im a heimer otp and haven't been using ludens companion this season just didnt feel great but might give it another try.

have you tried taking precision runes as secondary. specifically triumph and last stand. and Sourcery primary comet, mana, tran, gathering. and then in game just rushing dmg after dorans and skipping mana? I have found that with the turrets doing so much dmg on minions i just manage my mana and only use spells if i have to early. ive been rushing rabadons and early the waveclear and turret dmg is nuts and you focus on using mana wisely and landing lol. usually will go boots (CD or PEN.. depends) and then Shadow or storm for the movement and then depends situationally after but i suggest you try it i think you would go ape shit nuts with it.
i just dont use spells on the wave (except for q obv) really unless its really necessary. This actually makes it easier to clear waves and subsequently trade especially since your spells will be up after clear and no wait for cd.
Man i really wish they remaked his e, its just to hard to land and its only 1.5 s, atleast they should make it land way faster couse most champs now have so much move speed and dashes that it is so much harder than it should be, they make click cc that lasts triple for some champs
