I have always been emo with this song but after Bang Chan's live yesterday, when he said that this song hits him differently is because he remembers the time when he was alone. I think something that makes this song so impactful is everyone's different vocal colors and take on emotions. Jae's part is on the quieter side and sounds so hopeless and lonely as if he thinks nothing will get better. Wonpil just sounds so sad and broken down. Young K sounds like he's angry at himself for feeling this way and everyone else for making him feel this way. Sungjin conveys all of these emotions in all of his lines, whether it be hopelessness, sadness, or anger, by changing his dynamic with different lines. And of course, we can't forget how Dowoon carries the entire performance and moves it forward with his drumming. Man, this song hits different in quarantine when it's hard not to feel lonely.

I tried to think of someone to share this song with. Then I remembered why I was listening to it in the first place.
The reason why I began listening to this more is because I think I've done in my relationship with my best friend. We no longer talk because it's just me messaging her and her reading my messages - and we can't exactly communicate in person because now we go to different high schools. Now that she has read my message about whether I did something wrong or not with no answer, I think that it's done. It's not a relief for me by any means... it hurts so much inside that I want to run and scream to the world why this had to happen.
The good thing is, you have us to share it with too! We have each other who both enjoy the song. Thank you for being a MyDay

The situation I am in currently, I'm pretending to be someone I'm not just to have friends and not be lonely, and all I want is to go back to my old self. I don't like this new me. But when I think of how they'll feel once I stop contacting them after high school, I wonder if they'll think our relationship was significant enough for them to miss me or try to look for me. That's me now, trying to look for that best friend that once was.

This is what we called 'A REAL BAND'.. the four vocalists are not just 'a vocalist' but they have shaped their own style of singing and how each member can express their uniqueness in this song for both soft and powerful voice.... the instrumental can make us feel like an ENDING OST for a HORROR or SURVIVAL GAME which explains why this song is a real masterpiece... The quality is there.. the concept is there.. the singing is also on-point and it makes you imagine how it feels to be a solo adventure where you have to do things by your own to survive and nobody can help you going through for that...

I'm not one of those die-hard fans when it comes to k-pop or any genre tbh. However, DAY6 is the first to make me tear up and love them so deeply. Their songs are so heartwarming and pure. It's really hard to explain this, I'm sure all My Days or anybody for that matter get what I mean. They pour their heart and soul into all their songs and I find myself teary-eyed and more in love as each song repeats (repeatedly mind you). I still consider myself as a new MY DAY and hope to always love them and all of their songs. I may not know the meaning of the lyrics, but I don't seem to need them since I FEEL the emotions instead. NGL I was really hoping this actually had audio from the live performance bc there aren't a ton of videos of that, but this song is just the textbook definition of perfect. It was my favorite song released in all of 2017 and is probably my favorite Day6 song of all time (don't make me pick between it & Congratulations). It's just absolutely phenomenal.
