I believe this performance was part of audition tape they sent in toe be on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2015. That recording of Ale singing Hunter at the end was one of the best audio quality i've heard of her singing
Thanks for choosing this one to react to! An earlier video of them performing this song shows how much they progressed in a short time. Here, Dany simultaneously channeling both Axl and Slash slays me every time. Ali deftly playing Duff's melodic bass lines without missing a note, and then of course, there's Pau... what can we say about Pau's abilities and her powerful, yet precise technique at such a young age that hasn't already been said? Sisterly magic on full display!
So freaking awesome that some of the bands that they covered YEARS ago invited them on tour to open!!!! I am so looking forward to the day that The Warning invite the bands that they have inspired to open for them!!!!!!
Ale had only been playing the bass for a couple of years at this point. She is just chilling, hardly looking at her finger position and laying it down. Amazing!
Great cover from these very young kids! You could see that they had what takes to be one of the best. And now they are just that. Not knowing their work ethic, which is incredible..
This must be right before Ale upgraded to the white Fender short scale bass… this red one one was even smaller and you can hear how amazing hey playing is already here
👏👏👏👏❤❤❤🎸🎸🎸⚠️⚡😊
I find these early videos incredibly moving. All that potential seething under the surface… and (as we all know now) they would fulfill everyone’s expectations beyond our wildest dreams. Amazing little girls then, astonishing women now.
Yup, 6 string bass. Belongs to Pablo Ales bass teacher & The Warnings song writing teacher. The person that pushed them to write their own music. He is perhaps the singularity that lead to The Warning as we know it. He performed with TW at Metropolitan (with that bass) ua-cam.com/video/4WmQ9p_ao5M/v-deo.htmlsi=q-Zc_vFRj_lCXvhy & the video of he & Ale ua-cam.com/video/1i4oFvVUJQU/v-deo.htmlsi=SOzbFCAPa31iCxjg (don’t have to do reactions unless you want but cool moments in TW history)
Thanks Rick, loved this flashback to the beginnings of greatness from these Ladies. BTW, you saw that last clip at the end with Ale and one of her Bass teachers when she was really really young (9-10). Her teacher was Pablo Gonzalez Sarre. Here is a look at one of the lessons (including what you saw) from back then...some "jazz" lessons for Ale: ua-cam.com/video/1i4oFvVUJQU/v-deo.html. Hope you get a chance to see it. Quite amazing and unbelievable what the bass prodigy can do. Cheers.
Good choice Rick! I’ve never seen this version! Are Pau, and Ale both singing on the chorus? Is Ale singing the high harmony? I’d guess Pau, but 🤷♂️ 🤘🕊❤️🤘⚡️⚡️⚡️
Rick look for a guy Erik Grönvall (swedish ) House of the rising son cover. 🙏🌹. Ha has done a Whitney Houston cover to , must say better then the original 😉

I'm like a proud Dad watching this stuff!

Spring 2015 probably just before The liceo Concert and Berklee

The fact that Dany plays lead guitar while singing just blows my mind…..
Right?! So many are in awe of the singing drummer. How many singing lead guitarists have you heard of?... None. Until Dany.
Those harmonies just kill me! These girls are so gifted!
Next summet they ate going to play in Sweden Rock Festival. Maby I go see theme🤘🏼🤘🏼😜
They came a long way since they first performed that song, roughly a year-and-a-half earlier.

I don't recall Slash, or anybody else in the universe, being able to sing while playing those lead notes. Dany is an AMAZING musician!

I'm sorry, but Pau looks comically tiny back there. 🤣
And Pau never had a miniature or child’s drum set!! She started out with a full sized and never turned back!! Don’t tell Pau to play no kiddie set!!😂

I"ll check it out. Thanks Marita
