Very true. Personally, I would add Protea Prime when she comes out, as it is a bit of a grind to get her too. But yeah, definitely when it comes to frames or weapons, that can be a bit tedious to farm, the Prime method makes it a lot better for sure. Definitely a great reason to go for the primes, and save a bit of time usally.
@@TipsyContent fr. There also better looking then most normal frames and weapons. I wish we had base weapon skins like we do for warframes but I’ll take what I can get
That's interesting. I haven't thought about weapon skins having both the normal and Prime variants like frames do. I would love to see that too, for more freedom with styling.
True, that would be great. Now, I'm thinking it would be cool if you could put accessories on your weapons, kinda like melee has the little sigil, and frames have syndanas, shoulders, legs, and so on. Weapon fashion would be pretty cool, not gonna lie.
Welcome to the game! Happy to hear the video helped out. Yes, the game and all its systems can definitely be overwhelming at the beginning. There's so much stuff to learn and do in Warframe. Feel free to ask if you have any questions, I'd be happy to help! ^^
Great video! You're actually the best youtube channel I have found In my 3 years of playing and looking information about Warframe. Simple explanation No begging for likes in the middle of the video content. Chill song that mach with the tone and it's not loud Overall, I feel that you respect the viewer's time...
All frames and weapons in Warframe are treated as separate items, meaning the normal and prime versions are two different entities and won’t share forma or levels. However, mods and cosmetics are shared between them. That said, don’t worry too much because a normal frame and a prime frame are basically the same, with only a few stat differences and a prime look. It’s not necessary to switch to a prime frame. For example, I’m still using my normal Gauss even though I have Gauss Prime because I’ve forma'd the normal one a few times, and I’m not too keen on leveling and forma’ing again just to use the prime version at the moment. So, if your normal frame has some extra formas, feel free to stick with it. You can always work on the prime version later if you feel like it. A good thing to keep in mind before using forma on a frame or weapon is to check if it has a prime version, and consider whether you want to save your forma for the prime, or if you enjoy the current version too much to wait.
So a new rotation happens every time a new Prime Frame is introduced into the rotation. When Xaku Prime comes out on the 13th of November, new relics that contain Xaku and the weapon blueprints will be added to the game. At the same time, the oldest unvaulted Prime Frame, which is currently Baruuk, and any relics containing him and his weapons would then be vaulted, meaning they would no longer drop. You can use these 2 sites to find out which order the frames came out in and which are vaulted and not: Release order: warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Warframes_Comparison/Release_Dates Vaulted or not: warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Prime_Vault
Sadly, no. However, under certain circumstances, it is possible to use or obtain a weapon below its Mastery Rank (MR) requirement. That said, crafting or purchasing weapons above your MR level is typically locked.
Primes are separate yes they still take up a Frame slot but it doesn't matter if you have gotten the normal version or not. So if you farm and get the piece to make a prime you can make it right away Yes!
@@ItsNull-_- Nope, most Primes don't require a specific Mastery Rank to be met. Only certain Primes require you to reach a certain level. You can always check the Wiki or in-game to see if what you're looking for has a Mastery Rank requirement.

This was so informative! As a new player, I thank you.
Thanks! Happy to hear that! And welcome to the game. Hope you enjoy your Warframe journey, Tenno! If you have any questions always feel free to ask ^^
Main reason I always go for primes instead of normal is bc of the farm. Chroma,Garuda, harrow, khorra are done that I refuse to grind for

@@TipsyContent some of the normal ones look better since there not too flashy and simple. Having that as an option seems nice

I’m watching this video after promising to lube up for a affinity blessing at strata’s relay
But what if I’ve given my basic frame formas and leveled them up already? Would I have to start all over and lose the formas?

I’ve been searching for days and can’t find an answer to this question. When and hire do I find out when relic rotations occur?

Can I craft and use prime weapons that are 12+ mr requirements while under Mr 10??
Sadly, no. However, under certain circumstances, it is possible to use or obtain a weapon below its Mastery Rank (MR) requirement. That said, crafting or purchasing weapons above your MR level is typically locked.
yo time for some primes yo :)
Its Prime TIme!
you see prime part and blueprint, I see platinum in there
Can I make a prime warframe instead of a basic one right away?
Primes are separate yes they still take up a Frame slot but it doesn't matter if you have gotten the normal version or not. So if you farm and get the piece to make a prime you can make it right away Yes!
You need to be mr 10 for all of them?
