After following Scotty for awhile, I have come to the conclusion that I shouldn't own a car..or a truck. c):~)
Amen 🎉🎉🎉
Yeah get a Bicycle.
Unless it’s a certain Acura. He review my suv and he had nothing but good things to say so 🙏🏾
Just wait till he starts reviewing food!🌭🍔
Oh you won't once they build those 15 min cities
That generation Armada is a Reliable Beast. Quiet, comfortable. Heavy, too.
I was almost killed by a distracted driver in a Nissan Armada barelling at 40 mph toward a red light. I was stopped behind two stationary vehicles (because of the red light).
The Armada crashed into the back of my ‘03 Malibu, knocking me out (TBI), knocked my car into the cars in front of me injuring those people totaling their vehicles (mine was totaled.)
I was “trapped “ unconscious inside my vehicle, PD, Fire Department, Ambulance arrived in about one minute.
I can thank vehicle designers for “crumple zones.” The C pillars were both snapped in half. Insurance adjuster said he’d never seen that before.
If you drive a big SUV or giant truck please pay attention.
God bless you all.
So sorry you had that happen to you. God bless you I hope you weren't too seriously injured and you're doing okay today.. that's so scary ..
@@jeffwolf8018ditto - seriously.
Shame your Malibu got totaled. They have those iconic 3800 V6 engines.
Still trying to figure out what the "fatal flaw" is.....
Me too 🧐
Own a 2017 GMC Acadia, bought four TPS sensors for $29 from EBay, and Walmart replaced and synced them when I bought new tires for free. So it’s not as expensive as people think if they shop around.
CVT‘s are horrible, my friend has an Amada, 2012 still runs great, that engine is pretty good, worst part is the starter, it’s on the top of the engine buried underneath everything
Yes, my daughter's 2014 model needed a new starter. Unfortunately, had to use the local dealer to replace it; $2,100 later she had a Nissan 'reman' starter installed. And yes, they had to take the entire top of the engine off to get to it. Dealers are such total ripoff artists.
@@santaclause2875 about $700 at independent shop
We are living in an alternate reality when a vehicle is considered "robust" if it holds together for 120K miles!
It’s just come full circle- cars used to last 100k and we’re headed right back there.
Too much unnecessary junk when all you want is a car that has a good engine and transmission.
What Was the Fatal Flaw?
@@michaelchevreaux7780 you’re not supposed to notice that part.
We're all gonna die, so...
My 2012 Jeep TPMS still works..in fact, even the spare tire TPMS is working...after 13 YEARS!. Plus, there is a very important reason for 4WD...And it gets 24mpg highway, 15 city with full-time 4WD. And the air suspension works fine.
Only buy Nissan without CVT.
I have an '05 Titan with the same engine. Powerful, smooth and bulletproof. Never an issue. Mine has a 4 speed JATCO automatic with O/D and tow mode. So far it works perfectly as does the engine. I do spend some money on it as I have the automatic fluid changed at the dealer every 30,000 miles along with the differential fluid. Maybe overkill but I am okay with that as compared to making a truck payment, Sorry to see the Titan go away, it is a good truck.
“This is a gigantic ‘but’ “. Hahaha… Scotty is the best 🤣
Actually it’s a gigantic “ butt” 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Three of my TPS sensors on my f150 went out in the span of one month. Over 14 years old.
Thanks for the teaching lesson. Keep up the good work.😅😮😮😮
I must have fell asleep and didn't hear what the fatal flaw is.
Better built than any nissan made today!!
My 2010 Titan still has the original tpms. They all still work...knock on wood.😎🤔😅😄😆🤣
Dammit man, I knew we wouldn’t make it to March. RIP Scotty, see you tomorrow.
The battery in the tire pressure sensors last a long time, about 5 yrs, because they sleep at low power most of the time. Only wake up every 12 to 30 seconds to measure the air pressure, air temperature, and battery voltage. They transmit that only if there's something different to say compared to the last measurements, like a slow leak, a pressure blowout, or 5 minutes has passed. Saves a lot battery power not having to transmit every time it wakes up to measure.
Tpms are the stupidest idea besides engine on off at stoplights. Just plain stupid.
it saved many lives
Thanks Scotty
That giant Armada is obnoxiously huge. What a gas hog. And a dangerous weapon. Nobody needs this vehicle.
I see trucks that make the Armada midsize. The biggest of the big three. Even Toyota has a lifted monstrocity Tundra now. If one can afford $160K for a pickup but don't want a Hypercar.
The fatal flaw they found. They removed the ice and relaced it with battery powered motors. 👎
that little test ride probably used one and a half gallons of gas.
Two Nissan videos in two days. Nice. Yes JN, Japanese made like my Almera was. Cloth seats beat leather.
"A Serious Warning to All Car Owners, A Fatal Flaw Just Found"... this channel...
The best tyre pressure sensor is a pressure gauge you keep in the glove box
What happened to the bad news 🗞️ engine flaw 😮
You don't need stinking 4 wheel drive until you need it
So in ten years time will there be any car that was made in 2025 lasting the ten years
I would rather have the rear wheel drive
Notice the shift lock cover is off. That will be a $1,300 dealer only repair coming up....😢
Vehicle Manufacturers are so stupid by putting in a 4 cylinder engine turbo that destroys the engine. Because of the high pressure inside the cylinder blowing head gasket. Head gasket replacement cost like 1.5 k, because of removal of all cross parts over the engine.
Vehicle Manufacturers get your crap in line.
Manufacturer, yes you engineers
Make engines with less displacement to give better gas mileage.
Every 5psi of turbo boost is equal to a 30% increase on mechanical stress of the rotating assembly. Increased combustion temperatures and potential for blowby and seals, gasket, failures.
8th gen Accord exl 475,000kms. Still runs perfect.
2007 Japanese Dodge / Nissan Titan 104,000 ...4x4 Crew Cab , gas hog......love it.
Just because the pump turns on doesn't mean it's actually compressing air. If you remove the main airline and can hold your finger over it, you need a new pump.
10 gallons of fuel consumed during Scotty's acceleration segment.
Worth every penny (Dollar).
@@jgrenwod Absolutely.
trump will give you $1 per gallon gas with his dirty orange mouth
@@infdox9051 Consultation with a qualified professional is highly recommended for your current condition.
So what was the fatal flaw?
fatal flaw?
I buy autel tire sensors pre-program them with my autel and have discount tire install them when I go in to rotate and balance my tries. They do charge to put them in.
It's ugly not nice looking at all lol.
what exactly is "ugly"?
Like you.
Still waiting to see a handgun reveal itself when Scott starts opening compartments 😂
Scotty is always on point 🤣never miss a detail 💯 %
I guess I should have kept that old Plymouth duster I had.
You do know that the LA smallblock fit neatly into a Duster? I saw a Demon once. 71 or 72, maybe.
I will stick with my beautiful Lincoln Towncar,.
The 2011 Armada with the 5 speed transmission is really good. V8 power with port injection.
I don't know if Nissan can be considered a Japanese automaker anymore since they are owned by Renault
People are the fatal flaw.
Half these folks can't be bothered with checking their oil.

Scotty you can keep the Japanese, Korean, etc., stuff. Mine says GM on it and always has even though I strayed to Ford of Dodge a time or two which was a mistake.
Scotty my wife is now thinking of getting rid of my truck and me.. in a package deal. She is willing to Pay $20,000 for the pair.

3 grand when that servo motor goes out that controls the vent doors 🤣🤣 maybe more
That Nissan is one of the biggest gas hogs! You better have a fat wallet 😮
What is more reliable a new Cameron or a mini Cooper
I love the Camerons, but you have to grease the Perditzman valves with bacon grease, or the flux capacitor will overfluctuate and then youre in some real trouble.
I drive a Nissan Micra SR, love it.
When the battery goes in the tpm module, can you replace just the battery, or do you have to rely the module?
Depends on how well they were glued in and whether they can be popped off in one piece
Lot's of Nissan videos lately.
DANGER! Wil Robinson!
Following Scotty kilmer you must learn a lot about vehicles
Ma chienne a regardé cette vidéo avec moi et pense maintenant qu'elle pourrait devenir une star. Je pense qu'il est temps pour elle d'aller sur UA-cam👄
scotty I got 2014 jeep grand Cherokee the only problem I, had change the lifters and oil housing i upgraded the lifters and oil housing at 48870 miles what do you think ride about beautiful ride, but what do you think about this truck
There are ways of fixing that rear suspension without it costing much at all. You would have to look it over and make or adapt parts yourself. If one can't do this then just let it be. I wouldn't touch that thing with that 7 speed transmission no mater the price. All you need in a automatic transmission is a 3 speed with OD and a lockup converter. Anything beyond that is just silly.
2015 Altima 3.5 6 liter.. 151k
Runs great
Hi Scotty, Do I need to have power to my system in my 2019 chevy express 3500 when changing the battery?
If you stress over MPG, get a bicycle or walk is how I see it.
TPMS is the biggest crock of crap, ever. Pay attention to your vehicles, people.
Hey Scotty, just had a full synthetic oil change done by a Jiffy lube on my honda 2015 civic. They stated the oil looked milky and for an extra charge theyd run extra oil through to help clear it out. It sounded like bologna to me and declined but is there any weight to this?
Oh no, he said “serious”
In aus these are known as y62 patrol. 4x4 only and great value for money
All cars nowadays are ugly !!!!!
They all look the same. Zero creativity. Old vehicles had style.
That door Handle sounded cheap and hollow. Wow
In Australia it's called Nissan patrol
So, was the "fatal flaw" the TPMS sensors?
That has the same 7-speed transmission as the Mercedes Benz vehicles.
I just found out that the 2025 Nissan Kicks is made in Mexico. Hmm. 🤔.
So are many VW models and also Honda's modern CVT transmissions.
Replace the CVT every 30 miles
SUV and rear wheel drive? Isnt awd part of what an suv must have to be called such?
😎 hello Scotty 👋🏻
Armada or Sequoia??
I would buy a car made in Japan over China any day.
I have a 2021 and mine are all dead. Honda Accord
I like the Armada...the newest one. EXPENSIVE though
Where are the pistons?
By the gas tank , I believe
Armadas are junk....just ask my Tesla!
Not necessarily true...the Armadas unlike the other Nissans, do not have CVT transmissions. They have real 7-speed automatics with actual launch gears so they're not controlled by belts and pulleys that are found in the CVTs. Also they are everywhere on the roads.. old and new, with hundreds of thousands of miles on them. The Armada is one Nissan I actually do like. My mother drives a 2017 Infiniti QX80 with a little over 65K miles and it's served her well.

Your videos are always so deep and heartfelt! Thank you for your creativity and your ability to touch the hearts of your viewers!🟥🧡🌃
Basically if you're going to get a car with battery pressure systems then every time you change out your tire for a new tire replace the batteries and every three changes change the valve stems this way you don't run into problems I need to take off the whole tire and then put the tire back on but if it breaks well you're just going to have to live with it until the tires are worn out that's why they made pressure gauges if it ain't broke don't fix it
Who even cares about them. I somehow survived many years without them, it's called checking your tire pressure. I know that's too difficult for most people, but believe it or not, it can be done.
Your videos are always of high quality and depth of thought. Thank you for your dedication and talent!🌳🌔🧃
