Id argue its best to get this TV over the QN90 since the biggest differences are the 90 get slightly brighter, slightly more color and an audio power downgrade from 60w in the QN90D to 40w in the QN85D. As well as the professional calibration option available on the QN90D, but you can easily get a cheaper calibration tool and fix that issue. Same goes for the audio, if anyone gets these TVs, they are obviously into good quality products, so that would make me assume that they would use a soundbar rather than the audio from the TV. So the audio downgrade isnt really an issue. As for picture quality, the QN85D is every bit as good as the QN90D, just a tad dimmer, which isnt saying much as they're both phenomenal lol
Waiting the review and a comparison with 2023 model qn85c As I found out that there is an audio downgrade 2.2 ch 40w instead of 2.2.2 ch 60w so I am totally confused which one I should go for.
@hamadahawwas4210 Yes, you are correct with the audio being downgraded a bit, but it does get the updated NQ4 AI Gen 2 processor so we did see some improvement to the picture. We are in the process of filming our overview and it should be up next week so stay tuned. Be sure to subscribe and hit the bell so you get the notification!
@@abtelectronics Grateful for your honest answer, I want to buy the QN85C 65 inch, with ips panel does it affect the image quality at all? And thanks for the info.
@joseluisburgos1113 IPS panels will have wider viewing angles and better response times which is good if you're a very serious gamer. VA panels offer better contrast in most cases. If you're a serious gamer, you'll likely be happier with an IPS panel. If you're a serious movie watcher than you'll likely enjoy a VA panel more.
@@abtelectronics I'm more of a movie watcher, but I want to buy it because it's at a good price a monthly offer that they have in the same Samsung store, and it doesn't have the 2022 version, only last year's is the one they have, what do you tell me, would it be a good purchase or am I looking for the 2022 model?
@oilerguy5494 We took a macro picture of the pixel structure and it looks like a VA panel on this one (the 55"). We'll have the picture in the overview video we post next week.
@littlekidsfunballoons7397 The QN85D is a better TV than the Bravia 3 series. It is mini LED backlit so it will be brighter and have better dimming control. A more fair comparison would be to the Bravia 7. In that case you could go either way and you'd be happy.
@@abtelectronics Thank you for your helpful response! I really appreciate your insight. The QN85D seems like a great choice, and I'll definitely consider it. Mini LED backlit technology is impressive, and I can see why it would offer better brightness and dimming control. I'll also look into the Bravia 7, as you suggested. Thanks again for your expert advice!🙏
Amazing Tv honestly. I just received my QN85D, and it's totally worth the money!

QN85D and QN90D at 55” similar in price to 55” S90C. Latter is a good choice.
My newly bought QN85D TV has only 1 GB of storage left out of 8 GB... Can please check yours is this a bug or a issue by Samsung
GOOD INFORMATION, A QUESTION WHAT PANEL DOES THE QN85C 65 INCH HAVE, WHY I'VE HEARD IT HAS IPS PANEL IS THAT TRUE?
@joseluisburgos1113 The QN85C used an IPS panel, the 85D we unboxed for this video uses a VA panel.
