    I suggest. Burnish the ebony on a buffing wheel after sanding. Use silicon carbide paper for sanding e.g. 3M Tri-m-ite. I don’t bevel the front edge of the natural key slips, if you hammer the balance pin sideways you have to ensure the tail is not binding after.
    Your keyboard ended up great.
