Funny thing is, it's Trump's own crowd, but then again, he said it to their face "I just want your vote, I don't care. Vote for me now, and you'll never have to vote again", and they cheered & clapped like seals.
U.S. 335 million includes children, disabled, non-citizens, infirm, etc. who are unable to vote. 4-6 million are denied the right to vote due to felony convictions. We don’t know how many ballots were rejected due to mis- or un-dated ballots or other irregularities, or how many people were turned away because they were purged from voter roles leading up to the election or received incorrect information about where to vote. Also, votes are still being counted and there are provisional ballots that may not ultimately be added to the total.
We’ll probably see between 65-70% of eligible voter participation in the 2024 election. Not great, but if 160 million people voted, it means that about 70 million eligible voters didn’t vote or were prevented from voting.
