So glad you made this. I do wildlife rehab and unfortunately we have had a lot of people who buy them as pets and not realize how smart, and difficult they can be to cohab with. As a result they come to us with nowhere else to go.
Crows and ravens hold major grudges. they even teach their kids who to distrust. I've never had a raven that was unkind to me. The worst I had was one that was young (I rescued it from some wild cats) and he found some printer paper and shredded it. I've even had wild ravens outside bring me things in exchange for treats. The outside birds didn't like my ex bf tho..not after they saw him raise his voice to me. They definitely aren't for everyone but I wouldn't call them narcissists.

Thanks for these videos. Have volunteered in corvid rescue and met many corvids who have come in all the worse for humans trying to shape them into the pets they crave. Glad to see someone be so candid. You have to love these birds for who they are, the love alone, as you say will never be enough. Thanks again :)

I love how proud of it he all is. Sharpening his beak while the guy describes him sneaking up and clawing him in the back while trying to put a leash on the dogs.
I love this guy, and his message. This needs a "The More You Know" graphic & jingle at the end. I mean, I totally buy his warning. I hope at least a few "no consequence" thinkers stumble onto this before buying their raven, serval, timber wolf, anaconda, whatever.
So funny you ssy that , haahaa I guess my Crow and I get along so well because we are both torturers!. ;-) My Nev tortures by witholding affection, just like me.. if I take him out of his comfort zone, bring him in the crate outside for example, he will sulk for a few days afterwards and be cold towards me. Honestly. Then he will fly over , sit by me , tug my hair to wake me and be sweet again ...its like a punishment. They are more switched on than people can realise until they bond with one. You are great to watch. so glad I found you tonight. I can chastise Nev by voice tone , like just now as I'm typing he was banging away on top of his house really loudly on a metal dish...I just dtopoed him by calling his name disapprovingly. He's stopped instantly. Clever boy...now I'll go give him some beef and have a chat. ;-) he likes a song too lol..really!

I remember as a small child my mam calling the postman back and talking to him , crying and then giving him my pet Budgie , cage the lot! I understand why she did it of course but at 3/4yrs old I was not happy. Lol.. me and Nev are munching junkfood here , he loves crisps. ( potato chips ye call them) He's clucking away asking for more .. I'd hoped to send Nev back to the wild but it just wasn't possible , he was clueless and none of the local Crows took him in..they were very aggressive towards him and he was hurt each time I released him away from the house....ending up with him knocked into a chimney which almost killed him at 4 and a half months old. I am happy to have him, he's great company.
+fiona cahill P.s. I'm not stuffing him full of crisps by the way ..I only give him two, he eats one half quite daintily..stashes other half then barks for more , its more for the shared interaction

This is hilarious. Thank you for giving me a chuckle in the morning
I thought he was gonna say something facetious about how Ravens aren't so bad yadda yadda yadda. Just a stressed out guy talking about his asshole bird.
I love how other bird handlers and pet owners compare birds to like three-year-olds or 8-year-olds but my man over here rips off the bandaid and says "this raven is an actual psychopath!" lmao
*This is hilarious....what a beautiful bird*
You are awesome for having such patience and understanding with him! I live with a narcicist & it's hell on your nerves & patience😔
+fiona cahill mine likes to fuck with me..hes a good guy and all but I think for most people the birds end up being caged most the time. Sam is adult and out 24/7
Peter Caine Dog Training yes its a shame, I can't bear to see even the fish in the bloody tank in the kitchen!!
“I like living with a psychopath”
*random ass bird flies across the room*
yes one is random but Sam is not you sound like a moron
Hey Pete you don't sound any better. Why you mad fella?
Are you sure, that the bird is the narcissist?@@PeterCaineDogtraining
Some horses can be fun- loving criminals and sadistic tricksters.
Thank you for your honesty, im glad you told me the untold part of the story that people don't like to tell. 🤔☺️
