I'm so obsessed with the Rizos Curls volumizing hair spray! Thank you soo much for putting me on to that! That and the Ceremonia pequi curl activator from your nak3d curls video, that is such a good combination when you don't want to spend lots of time applying multiple products, because the volumizing hair spray adds a good amount of hold. And for drugstore gels, one that I really like is the OGX coconut curls decadent creamy mousse. It works really well along with the Not Your Mother's curl talk defining cream. I just don't like how creamy and almost sticky it feels on your hands when you're applying it. And it does take a lot in order for it to have an effect.
uuufff! The Rizos Curls Spray + Pequi Curl Activater = AMAZING combo!! I'm gonna try that on my next wash day. And I haven't heard of that OGX gel, but I'll keep my eye out for it!

I love the NYM curl talk hard hold gel. 🤣The hold is insaneeeee tho so I get how it can be too much for some hair types. Totally with you on the cake mousse tho!

I blog about wavy hair and I am working on a blog post that will share a bunch of wavy/curly social media accounts, blogs, youtube channels, etc and their hair type. This idea came about because I sometimes get asked if I know of another blogger who has a specific hair type. I totally get that some people are interested in trying to find someone to follow who has all their hair stats as they may be best suited to get tips from. So, I thought I'd try to make a blog post sharing different wavy or curly accounts and their hair stats. I'm hoping to include you in my blog post. If you're open to being included could you reply letting me know your hair type? I'm planning to list density, strand thickness and porosity types. If there is some other property that you feel is key to your hair (Sensitive to certain ingredients, oily scalp, super prone to tangles, coconut sensitive, etc) feel free to share that as well and I’ll see about including it. I'll link to your youtube and tiktok for sure but if you're active on other platforms let me know and I can link to those too.
Have you tried the Mixed Chicks line yet? I've been using their shampoo and leave in and love it.

I actually really like it. I alternate it between that, the AG care curl cream leave in and The living proof wavy depending on what my hair and weather are doing down here in FL.
It was working great during the summer months when humidity and rain were extremely high.
I had great curl definition and hold. Only get the small bottle you barely need any. I can't see anyone using the large before it expires.
Pea sized amount covers the majority of your hair. If you use too much it will weigh it down so just play with it and make sure you don't overdo it. Its pretty concentrated and a great buy for the price.
The morning after foam is great as well by that line. Just be careful if you're prone to frizz with glycerin. Its super light else wise though for next day hair.
I was using the verb oil religiously , my hair was loving it and kept using it daily and now my hair feels dry and wonky every time I do a wash day, the next day it’s not the best. I was struggling cause my hair hasn’t been the same but I’ll definitely try the oil you recommend!!
You probably need a serious clarifying wash! I’d suggest Malibu c undo goo.
what type of shampoo and conditioners do you recommend to someone who’s new into their wavy/curly hair journey ?
I am currently using the Verb Ghost Shampoo/Conditioner. I used it back in February and my hair started to look dehydrated and frizzy. My ends were rough too. I stopped using it and my hair felt better, but my scalp was a mess. After getting a trim last month, I figured I'd try it again. I thought that maybe my hair was just going through it because of the winter weather. It's not necessarily dehydrated looking, but I can swear I feel a film on my hair and my scalp is still itchy and a little tight. Did anyone else have this experience if you've used it?

not in the video but i just wanted to share ,, i just tried the kristin ess curl shampoo on my 2c wavy curly hair and it blows my mind how it does everything it says it doesn’t do. it’s so stripping and you have to use so much of it to feel like ur scalp is even getting clean. i returned it after one use like i did with the function of beauty line because of how much hair i felt was being pulled out, sticking w my rizos curls shampoo!! i do need some good conditioner reccs tho, every time i go to target i end up so confused 😭

Yes! what miss Taylor said! You can use up what you have left of the Ghost Oil, but just make sure to clarify. And once you're done with it, you can switch to a different oil ;)
