Alright so update: It's either a new arc called Eastern Exile or just a new chapter of the Fantasia arc kinda like Lost Children. They baiting us fr.
fr they are blue balling us Berk fans.
Its still hard to believe that he's gone. R.I.P kentaro miura. Gone to soon.
All this is for Guts to be broken and then rebuilt once again, but this time it would be the final time. That's where the story was headed when Miura was still working on it. The arc could try and rebuild Casca as well since she has been broken all this time. Having her stand up to Griffith, like Rickert did would be fucking awesome, even if she wouldn't be able to stop him. Sure would suck if none of these things were resolved.
I have full faith and confidence in Koji mori. He was there drawing the eclipse with Miura, that's no small feat. Imo berserk needs a good ending. That's the only way I can see it getting an anime adaption as well
I think if Berserk gets a proper adaptation in my lifetime, I'll be at peace.
I really, really hope they name the last arc The Dark Age or something like that almost a reverse of Golden Age
That sounds badass! So it would leave the conclusion left in the middle of the dark ages from which has since been lost to time… and reflect the idea of the how dark those times really were and the example of guts to have persevered and given his all in his life inspite of the horrors he experienced That’s sounds a lot like Miura : he died doing what he loved..

A video actually explained the berserk editors are gonna keep Miura's next arc before he passed away although some stuff might change it's pretty wholesome that there gonna keep his original idea for the next or final arc.

Something kinda like that is what i would like to have seen.. idk just seems rights for Guts to face something that seems unwinnable but for the things he loves and holds close to his heart and possibly even die but taking the enemy with him... everyone has to die but the thing is to die well.. 😢 makes me tear up bro.. im not crying, just allergies.. 😅 i can see griffith say something like... "we dont have to die Guts" and Guts saying to his punk ass "thats where your wrong GRIFFITH! Everyone has to die, but the trick is die well!" And they both die but Griffith is all afraid and acting like a coward about it like the coward and weak man that he truly is and Guts accepting it all brave like. But thats just my brain.. i have no idea how kentaru would have ended it im sure it would have been a million times better than anything I could ever think without doubt Kentaro would have stuck the landing in a way nobody else will be able to, so I personally don't have very high hopes for near oerfect ending to berserk like Kentaro would have given us fans.. i know they arecsayong they spoke about the nextcarc and ending abd some characters and things like that but even with that I still feel they don't know everything Kentaro would have added of how he would have laid it out in the way only that man could have.. which is an honest tragedy.. but still im just grateful they are giving us what they do know at the very least.. 🙏 crazy how much a manga can mean to so many peoples lives... it honestly broke my heart the day I found out about Kentaro passing as I'm sure it was for most fans and can't imagine about his family. Just wonder how good of a person he was actually in real life.. but as a creater and artist he is second to none.. Berserk is one of the best stories ever put on paper in my mind and humanity as a whole lost one of its greatest master pieces half way through... kinda like if the Mona Lisa was only half way painted... like a bald Mona Lisa is how I feel kinda... something like that... but then a close friend finished the Mona Lisa.. like we still get to have the Mona Lisa with hair and we know for sure she was supposed to have hair but nobody is exactly sure if that's the same hairstyle and color the og artist would have given her... ya know what I'm trying to say?

@@jasonscott2390 or something like that.. we know how much history influenced Kentaro while writing/drawing/creating Berserk.. so I've always thought it could be something drawn from a historical person who was up against unimaginable odds but stood strong.. horatius even told. His men in his army to burn the bridge after the got across so the enemy could not come across again while he fought them back.. so maybe Guts tells the crew to close or cut off the connection to the physical and astral world so that he and the god hand and Griffith all get caught in the vortex while the others are able to escape and continue living... idk.. just a thought.

Welp, if Guts kills a member of his group due to his armor and returns to normal state, he would have to get rid of the armor which wouldnt make a lot of sense.

I wont read anymore. He gave the manga a definitive ending. One that falls in line with his personality or his rebellion to deface himself like so many obedient conforming demons. Its a heartbreaking ending but absolutely beautiful. What true fans who got numerous dreams about Berserk SHOULD read is Gigantimakhia.

Miura himself said he was wrapping things up and we were going to find out more about skull knight. Stop putting too many expectations and be happy he outlined the ending.
Its weird this arc hasnt got s proper name yet but im guessing it will be the black swordsman party and elfhelms residents teaming up with rickert and the kushan
That would be cool but idk miura said the story is going to move away from guts being part of a group and moving toward guts being alone in his own rebuilding arc

What people have to remember is that a good story doesn’t need to tie every loose end. Only the ones that matter. Others are meant to just exist and are open to interpretation. Try not to judge so much and just enjoy the journey.
Guts will probably trigger his behlit and go berserk on the gods with skull knight.
