Jack Barnwell is so knowledgeable, it's astounding considering Mackinac Island and Naples are polar opposite gardening Zones. His experience and knowledge is incredible!

Jack, I didn't recognize you without your hat! Thank you so much for a fun tour of Driftwood. With all the craziness going on I have been going to different garden centers in my area (Boston) to check out all the plants. Orders for spring planting are just arriving so it has been helpful in alleviating the stress and planning my garden. I'm amazed at your knowledge of plant material especially seeing that you work in such different climates. I really enjoy listening to your thoughts and experiences with different plants. Also, I saw Laura's video today where she potted up a sleek black aquapot. Keep up the tours, they're great! Looking forward to more content on UA-cam. Keep safe.

Such a cool place. Must be nice to have a huge selection of tropicals in one place. Here in north Texas , I have to do a lot of shopping around. Looking at that nursery’s selection makes me really want to use orchids and bromeliads in potting arrangements this spring.

Jack looks so different without his hat! I would put some type of bulb in each of those little baby pots and put it on the window sill of my kitchen and just watch it grow.

The tiny pots are great for making wreaths, as they are not too heavy and they still invoke the garden theme. I would use them to start seedlings and baby shoots from my spider plant and succulents. P.S. Could you please design a garden around drought tolerant plants that require little water and are NOT invasive. I would be extremely interested in that tutorial!! Blessings to you and your Family!!

Much appreciated!! I grew up in a zone 10 and now live in zone 5, I prefer having 4 seasons but it was great to see some color. Had my mulch and plants delivered this year...gardening makes staying home no problem!

Thank you. That was a refreshing and wonderful tour of the Driftwood Garden Center. Laura from How's It Growing uses the little terracotta pots upside down on her green plant stakes. It's a great finishing touch to a row of dahlias in her garden.

Hehe.... Some days, down in Florida... it's so warm and sunny I wear a big straw hat... and that one shades out my face so much that I can't wear it when we film... However, I never have my trusty leather barmah too far away so it'll be in many more videos to come I'm sure.... it's like my safety blanket!

Awesome tour! I have papyrus growing outside in the ground in my yard. My Hong Kong Orchid shrub is a reddish orange color. I heard there are at least 250 varieties of palms.

You need to be more specific when you say all year long as you know 80% of the country you cannot grow them all year as you said many times...mentioning zone on that beautiful orchid tree and such will not grow in zone 6. At least when you show a beautiful tree mention zone.
