Thanks for this excellently presented Video Max.Could I ask your advice on using Copper Grease on the slider pins? I've always wondered if it's the correct grease as there seems to be some confusion about using it on them. Would appreciate your thoughts.

      Hey Mark,
As for grease I don't mind using copper grease for solid mounted parts you want to remove again such as bolts and the only exception for that for me is brake pad ears, copper grease is slightly abrasive so it's a poor choice for universal joints or bearings or anything like that. It's also not good for rubber parts to be submersed in it because it can cause rubber parts to swell which in turn can lead to stuck slide pins which rips through your pad material very fast and overheats the disc so in that scenario I use grease that is designed for moving parts but NOT multipurpose grease if it is solvent based as this will also eat rubber parts and make them swell.
I like lithium grease for brakes and there or red rubber grease works well too and both of them have a long lifespan and can handle high temperatures making them ideal for braking systems

I have used CRC Braklube for some time in my cars. For brake pad sliding surfaces, slider pins, between discs and hubs, drum brake sliding surfaces and all kinds of threads... So far no problems, have been very satisfied with the product. ua-cam.com/video/L_Ic174fppU/v-deo.html

Fuel filter and remove the old fuel in the tank... Might need to gently tap the injectors to too in order to make them fire
If it does start it will likely need a full service, brake fluid change and probably new tyres

Yep very true! I use double cut files so they cut on the push and draw stroke 😁👍
