This is what 'realistic graphics' should mean. Not over-contrasted lighting and high reflections. While the monotone and depressive color and mood of reality sucks, you seriously nailed it. Best mod I've ever seen.
that's not realistic man, it's dash cam - realistic. if that's what you see with your eyes, you need a doctor lol. you're right about what's not realistic, but this isn't either
adding a somewhat faithful color correction to ressemble real cameras is insane, maybe making the sounds much more horrible and decreasing the framerate a tiny bit like in wheres981's videos could work, (+ tweaking the motion blur to make it less obvious)
This is so good. One mistake compared to reality is that every window has the same light on every building. You'll never see that in real life. Anyway this is really huge.
wow, the only reason how i knew this was assetto is because i recognize the cars in the no hesi mod and plus nobody cuts up that recklessly in real life
It's almost poetic that to achieve photorealism, one of the things to do would be to lower the saturation and have the world presented in shades of gray. Stripped of strong colors, strong clors visible only for a brief moment, to once again decay into grayness.
Very good..! A bit dark perhaps - and slightly dull colors; but thats way better than "oversaturated", and i usually lean that way too when i make my own presets. Would be nice with higher resolution, and clips from different locations, and with different lighting. Ive noticed its relatively "easy" to make a ReShade preset that looks really good in one location, but then when i switch to another track, or go from day to night, it looks pretty bad. Hopefully in the near future, games will allow us to just press the "tilde" key or something to get up a window with graphics settings that only applies to that particular environment - or maybe even point at a tree or rock or grass if we want to do adjustments to the saturation or whatever of that particular texture.
Photorealistic because these physics ain't even trying to hide the fact that this is all a video game and there ain't no muthafuckin' way in hell that barreling through rush hour traffic at over 300mph Wangan Midnight-style could *ever* be done in real life, and even if you could pull that shit off, that's just asking for a lethal car accident from hell.
Game for sure! The trees give it away, but other then that it look really photorealistic. Like freaking awesome realistic to be honest. This is a pretty nice mod for sure. Vision reality 1.1 would really boost it even more with some good settings.

make the camera quality look like shit to hide unrealistic high resolution details of the game
