An essential part to this is to use the R+W combo it will make or break your kai'sa gameplay imo, if you press W during your R the ability will start channeling during the flight and fire off just as you finished dashing to your R, just as you W+Flash.
This makes the W a guaranteed hit if enemy don't instaflash your R.
You don't have to worry about predicting/calculating how your W will fly since if you aim the W ontop of the enemy during the R it will automatically fire towards them, doesen't matter if you R behind them or to the sides, if you aim towards the centre of R it will hit the centre.

@@user-hd2dg2fe9w no, just checked in practice mode, it is R first then W during the travel, when you have level 16 R you need to delay the W a bit during the traveltime otherwise you shoot too early.

After watching the video and also playing the "funny build" before, he does get nashors a lot of the time which it itself will level e with berserkers. It's just better into tanks really to get more sustained damage

Hey Dobby, love the videos. Found your channel when looking for Sett mechanics and have watched every video since. If I could add a small clarification - W-W-Q-Auto doesn't proc passive twice as listed @5:28. Two W+Auto is only 7 stacks of passive. The stacks actually fall off of the Ezreal and the 2nd W applies a fresh set, which is why it looks like the passive goes twice. Again, love the videos!

AP Kai'sa with a Manamune has been strong all season. It's great to see the build getting more attention. You always see players building full AP when they roll her in ARAM, but building that way makes her Q and E utterly useless. Manamune give you a reason to actually use those abilities in fights.
Manamune + evolved Q is bonkers. The only problem a kaisa might have on Aram is getting your items too late.
@@urias134 Late is one thing, but the issue is more on sustain. Manamune AP Kaisa doesn't have good regen/vamp. So, unless you can poke it down otherwise you'll face sustain issue or even lack of shredding power if enemy has tanky divers.(bruisers like Irelia, Ekko)
@@urias134 true, you just have to play super safe to build up enough passive gold. You're not going to get many kills sitting on just a tear, boots, and a longsword, but you can get a lot of assists and have a fat purchase on your first death. I dont remember the exact breakpoint, but I believe you can get Q evolve before level 11 with a Manamune + Lost Chapter on your first death. Manaflow could help get it earlier, but I prefer taking Presence of Mind to have infinite mana sustain.
So satisfying when you hit 2 Ws in a row and the target dies.
When i used to play Ap kaisa in s10 I two w-ed a full hp khazix once when he just came out of base and respawned from 2-3 screen away. After the first he turned back to fountain and even jumped but he didn't know kaisa w gives vision and second shot will be coming so he died. Sweet memories.

@Red Not everyone knows that kai'sa w gives true sight (through khazix r and akali shroud) for 4 seconds, which is really long.

Tip for people who saw this and want to play AP kaisa when in aram: build nashors, ludens, attack speed boots first. It gives upgrade on both W and E, which makes kaisa quite a potent mid range fighter and gives more chances to use Q+manamune later on. Also manamune should be completed about third item in, because kaisa Q doesn’t upgrade with just manamune until about level 12. It’s why faker buys a extra long sword to sell later.
The reason behind this build is because too often players build full AP and play kaisa with just W, neglecting the rest of her kit. It also makes her quite useless when the enemy gets near you and also when your W missed and goes on a long cooldown. Especially with rabadons after manamune, kaisa’s passive can proc for 1000 damage which is very easy to do with upgraded E and hail of blades.
The thing is that nashors tooth berserker graves makes damage spike less hard than sorc + shadowflame/void staff. And you can proc passive with w + HoB aa. I think both builds have merits as the invis can be good for kiting
I would say,go for the upgraded E build if you face champions that can engage on you easily (assassins,some tanks like Zac that can engage from really far away,etc...),and go for the no upgrade E build if you can jus sit in the backlane and throw Ws without too much risk

AP kaisa is just Jayce 2.0
After 2 item and W upgrade, she is the most broken champ in this current meta.
Her poke does more damage than Jayce but cd is 2 seconds.
If she misses, cd is still 8 seconds which is shorter than jayce QE.
Also she have way more DPS and Suvivability than Jayce.
Shes also fucking terrible at laning both bot and mid. She is utterly weak bot and any melee champ will destroy her in midlane. Sounds just like jayce, right?

If people want to see more Ap kaisa mid, check out snipyOCE, a "diamond" kaisa mid otp.
He (and i) use a dif rune page of FS, boots, futures, cosmic, manaflow/gathering and transcendence.
Also easy way to get faster q evlove is to go manaflow and buy mana crystal after the extra long sword. Since it gives u ad bc of manamune.
Also there is a trick that he uses to get 1 raptor before first wave (with taking like no dmg, its like 3-4 aas with isolated q) so that u can hit lvl two just off of the first wave.

What do you think about the guy playing akshan jungle in korea? (non mainstream)
It has always been playable, the last buffs helped it but I didn't expect it to be meta. It is very versatile aswell you can go electro or comet and you can swap between ludens protobelt and crown too. Very fun to play regardless of setup

i had a game yesterday where we got all 3 inibs and nashor but the enemy feeding kaisa started throwing E’s to everyone and we just died on our nashor push and never managed to win a fight anymore. We ended losing. From a 11k gold lead + 3 inibs to even gold and nexus broken in 5 min.
All that in diam.
What ban would you recommend for trying this kai'sa mid lane? I've been going with Fizz but idk

Time for me to try this out for the first time in my silver IV promos...
lol some ppl in the comments be like “it’s not new at all! I’ve been playing it since blah blah” maybe it was playable in ur bronze que, but it was never a thing in high elo in KR server. If it wasn’t faker, ppl might’ve thought it was troll pick. Faker said after game T1 vs KT, Kaisa looked fun so he just played it mid and ironically it kinda worked well with the meta right now.
Ok so this build isn't new at all, lots of things are sub optimal or no explained, so here are some clarification :
-Cookies are useless since you can literally "cheat" lane with her wave clear and have low mana cost. Take Market, it's extremely good on Kai'sa for faster evo and spike, literally the best and most powerful rune for her.
-Ravenous healing is low even on W. Q is AOE even when you hit 1 unit so bad healing. Rather go for Items haste for super fast tear stacking + Luden's proc.
-In certain matchup or vs certain comp -( mainly hard matchup and mobile team) > go for Fleet always, healing is insane. First strike vs poke comp. HoB is mostly for lane.
- Nashor's instead of Shadow flame if you are sure to AA in fight a significant amount of time ( at least 4/5 times)
-Don't play this build vs Hard engage / tank team. You will be useless.
-Mana crystal will give you 6 AD after you get Manamune, so in most situation you don't need the longsword ( 10AD) to evolve Q and the dmg diff don't justify the buy.
- NEVER EVER BUY DIRK. This component is an ultra trap, you do not need it at all for Q evo, it set you back for W evo and 2 + 3 rd items and Kai'sa doesn't benefit much from lethality anyway.
Q don't give passive stack, do more dmg to low hp minions.

@@firefist906 The reason why people split push and farm whole game just to find out they cannot carry since they are NOT challengers :)) The reason why people mss out on broken builds for months... until someone makes a video then they get nerfed :) Most streamers just confuse and destroy your potential, since you cannot win the same whey they do, you need the basics and no, the basics is not farming but fighting skills + macro(mostly putting pressure by pushing or deep warding).
My silver 3 Kaisa mid said he watched this video and claimed he's gonna win lane and carry with one shots , we lost the game with Kaisa feeding the enemy zed 2/16 at 22 minutes.

A lot of his plays are game knowledge, he just seem to understand his champ strength vs his opponent. The mechanical game play i believe anyone can like kai sa like that but not everyone can apply game knowledge to win.
It is exactly the opposite - faker got insane reactions, timings, that is why when other players copy-paste his game knowledge they fail to achieve the same.
