I was writing the pregame matchups for The Miami Hurricane student newspaper at this time. Nobody gave Miami a chance going into this game and in my research, I kept finding photos (this is the early days of UA-cam before game footage) of Marcus Vick holding the ball away from his body. I wrote that if Miami can get pressure on Vick, they would create turnovers and blow the game wide open. I argued with my editor that I wasn't being a homer, I was just reporting my findings. I could not have been happier for the guys to prove me right. Go 'Canes.

Most are talking up Cam Ward and the offense being the strength. I’ve been saying it’s the defense with an outstanding front 7. The DBs I feel are getting underrated especially considering they will be helped by the front 7 putting pressure on opposing QBs. There is no great Canes team without a great defense!🙌🏼 Outstanding video!👍🏼
