- Tuerck’d Season 3, Ep. 6: Professional Formula Drift driver Ryan Tuerck continues his semi-destructive tour of Europe! In this episode, Tuerck meets up with the Fail Crew at Laitse Rally Park in Estonia for the Drift Allstars GP. The Fail Crew hook Tuerck up with a loaner S13 built by HGK Motorsports for the competition which Tuerck finesses through the qualifying rounds all the way to an insane final showdown against Harold Valdma! Watch to see whether he wins or gets Tuerck'd! We also get a look at an epic custom BMW 6 series with dual turbos and 600hp. Next stop Latvia but not before a run in with the local law enforcement-as they say, “Hey! It is not a problem.” Tuerck makes the absolute most of the opportunity at Riga, laying down pristine first tracks at a sick Soviet era track, the Fail Crew joins in and all ends well in this Eastern European saga!

Wonder how long it will be until the first electric drift cars start hitting the competitions.. Torque is what matters in drifting, and a competitive run is less than a minute long..
To me that seems pretty well suited to electric cars!

seeing as every drift fanboy/girl loves the sound of a growling exhaust shooting fireballs and unicorn farts... I dont see electric drifting becoming a thing anytime soon. Also, all of the car sponsors for formula d etc. are "combustion-engine" part companies.
paradoxed I'd have to add that loudness noise and amount of smoke are amogst the things by which drift competitions are judged.
And the trend of diesel drifting is funny, who does not like the cloud of black smoke?

You're right there's no aftermarket products to advertise for electric cars, so there's no financial reason to develop an electric drift car..
There's plenty of people out there with more money than brains though!! I would love to see someone make an electric drift car just because they can.
I'm not a fanboy for any specific manufacturer or engine type/size (Unlike the guy who replied to me "I hope never" + the guys who gave him a thumbs up) .. If it's fast and makes a cool sound- it's awesome in my books.

D1 and Drift muscle ( which is street legal) where they are scored on technique not power yes, in FD where its all about power and smoke i doubt it.
He chooses the frs for some reason. I don't know what that reason is but obviously he likes it enough to make a "street" build out of one. he still likes the s chassis but i think he just wants something new. nothing against the s13 but if you had all the high paying sponsors he has, why would he use a 25 year old chassis instead of a new one that is much stiffer and has more than enough aftermarket already

Dang you really killed that competition, awesome^^ I really really love your FRS but holy crap you got soo much more control and angle with that S13. If Portland speed Industries built you an S13 with the same horsepower(as the FRS) and an awesome suspension set up and they let you pick between that and the FRS, which one would you choose?

to those saying that they shouldn't have had a v8 swap in it, most of the time ( to my understanding) they do that because those engines can handle more power. and it's easier to make that power. and though i agree with you that the sound of an import is incredible, id rather have a v8 then a v nothing when it blows on the track.

Question! How often do you find yourself having to drive by memory for a second or two because of the lead making so much smoke? Some of the videos seem pretty crazy as you cant see anything but white!
