Yes, trimming frogbit roots are fine. Often they grow over 1.5 inches and start blocking light sources as well. You can trim the roots or remove the overgrown ones.

I’ve switched to a 5 gallon planted tank for my boy betta…I had him in a 2.5 gallon with colored gravel, decorations, sharp fake plants and all the newbie mistakes lol so as time passed I wanted a planted tank for him and cycled it and all that and added him to it…before the switch I had an albino Cory and black nitrite with him…2 months later my Cory all of a sudden died…I didn’t think anything of it so went and got another regular Cory…I then caught my betta going after the new one and it clicked as he more than likely killed my albino 😞 it was all good until it wasn’t 😞 I moved him and my nitrite to the 5 gallon planted and he loves it so much..but I needed more than one nitrite as I can’t put anything with him but snails(lol litte sht lol)…I was wanting to get trumpets as I have sand and I wanna keep it as clean as possible…would adding trumpets not be a good investment for us?? I’m glad I came across this..good video

You can breed male and females within 2 weeks, but it’s based on how much they recovered from injuries and health condition. I usually breed them upto 14 months for healthy fry rate specially for male.
Avatar must have blue in it. Basically it’s all galaxy koi bettas comes with inconsistent dragonscale patterns.. blue black star = avatar, black with silver or gold star = black panther, black avatar. But they are just marketing names from breeders.😊

Corys are "schooling" fish so you need at least 4-6 of them in a tank- 5 gallons is too small for them (Not trying to be rude, just trying to help)
