I think that you are poorly informed. Cities and towns in Serbia are very well interconnected via buses (some with trains) . Some are going even in the night time . Regarding sidewalks ,or foot paths between the cities/towns - not really connected (there are bike lanes in the north of Serbia and along the Danube river , but that's not different from most other countries (there are some exceptions in a North West of Europe ) . Internet SIM card costs about 6 euros for a week and about 10 euros for a month (50 gb). While in Belgrade , you can use internet (free) to download map , or buy one in tourist center (which , I assume , costs more than your hostel). As for hostel , haven't you looked the pictures in the offer, when you booked it ? I mean there are more expensive cups of coffee than that hostel per a day. If you get a map (which I strongly advise you to do) , you may find the best route for you and miss the highways. Also , if you haven't made arrangements already ,, you can check some monasteries on the way , most of them will not turn down travelers for the night , especially when nights are getting colder. Good luck !
@@pedjamilosavljevic6235 Well, as I already said that by bus is basically the only way Serbia is connected, I speak from my experience and from what I see on the way, in terms of trains, Serbia is still behind on the side I came from, I didn't see trains, but abandoned lines, a city like Zrenjanin should be connected to Belgrade, I have the A1 SIM card for 1999 dinar with unlimited internet but no calls or internet (also very expensive) compared to Italy the most expensive country I've been to so far which for 20€ I had unlimited internet, calls and SMS, so I use GPS every day to find the best route and as I mentioned on Google, but since I entered Serbia, they don't have the bike route, so if it doesn't show the bike route I'm not going to guess, I DIDN'T HAVE ANY IDEA ABOUT THE MONASTERIES AND IF YOU WANT TO WRITE TO ME ON FACEBOOK WE CAN TALK ABOUT IT AND OTHER THINGS. Well, as I said, and basically the negative points of Serbia so far are the roads, which are dangerous because people don't respect the rules, not even a pilgrim walking along the road and they even start blowing their whistles without knowing the highway code because if I'm walking on that road, The road is because I can, it doesn't have cycle paths, and it's poorly connected by trains, since I arrived here in Belgrade, otherwise, as I already mentioned, the people are friendly, the country so far seems to be peaceful. And like I said, if you want to write to me on Facebook or Instagram, it’s the same name 💪
