This live performance of Close My Eyes might be one of the greatest reggae live performances Ive ever heard. Truly legendary
I am a musician and was playing a bar gig the same day this guy played a music in the same city. He was at the bar late watching our band and vibing. It was a great experience. We were not an amazing band lol. Just having him watch and actually listen was really cool.
i met him backstage when he was a long haired rapping Jew - hanging with Rabbis in robes - totally different “vibe” for sure. the drugs took effect & he got worldly so the Rabbis disappeared when he discarded his Jewish “costume”. he transitioned from a beatboxing phenom to massive fruitcake in 3 albums. which begs the question, does he still urinate while standing? 🤔😎

Matisyahu truly is the male form of Madonna due to his ever changing appearance. I love that about him. What a true talent & a genuine gentleman as well. He literally will chat with anyone on their level & believe me, I was feeling no pain the day we did. Good vibes.
I swear when Matisyahu does his acoustic sets, he transcends the entire crowd, makes every sense fire at the highest level. Nothing like it! Legend!

Sly & Robbie are hardly a new group. They’re legendary, pioneering artists in the reggae music industry.
Sometimes everyone has an off night. Overall though he is excellent. I've heard over 20 taped shows, really great stuff out there.
I got to experience Stick Figure last night for the first time and it was so electrifying. Literally help me out of this rut I been in. Absolutely amazing experience

My first introduction to Matisyahu was his Live at Stubb's (2005) after that I was hooked. Love this set and I love all @Sugarshack Music Channel videos and artist.
I got to see him and 311 years ago. That was the most magical mainstream set I've ever seen ❤
