- We visited the stunning Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Temple which sits on top of Doi Suthep Mountain in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
From Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, we watched the sunrise overlooking the city of Chiang Mai, we then walked down to explore Pha Lat Temple and walked through Monks Trail get return to the bottom of the mountain.

It is really strange when Siddharta Gautama Buddha first came into his enlightenment he did not envisaged his philosophy to be a religion but unfortunately or fortunately it has morphed into a religion with millions of worshipers across the universe. I like some of his philosophy, prime one is that you will never gain happiness for material things. So true in practice. Glad you both enjoy the trips to the temples and able to perform meditation. The lady looks like an English actress and her name escape me. Happy a happy and safe journey throughout Asia.

That root.. The one that you did limbo, is source of drinking water, but need to be cut about 2 feet. It drips cooling water but of course during emergency only and that one is way too big.
