I just saw this performance again as it came up my feed unexpectedly. I still feel the same way I did seven months ago. I still cried as the story of an undying love is told through the touching dancing forms that the artists create. Thank you again for the moments of joy you provide all of us.

    我很喜歡這段表演,這是種美感,也是種象徵努力以赴、不向命運低頭的精神﹝她們全都是聽障人士﹞,請從欣賞藝術的角度來觀看這場表演,別老是政治掛帥。

Music is one of the greatest joys in the world, and is powerful enough to fill you with ecstasy or bring you to tears. Your argument is as rational as saying it's better to be blind, that way you don't have to look at your nasty face. You have to take the good with the bad, and the beauty of music makes it worth putting up with some noise at times, just as a beautiful picture makes it worth sometimes having to see unpleasant things. You always look at the negative side because you are bitter.

This is an odd camera angle, true. It is unusual to see this dance from the side, but I like seeing it from that angle for once. It gives it a different perspective.

The center front seats are the best view. Would be improved with large screen view for all to see while live.

i think this dream (dance) is a story about the begining of life on earth. similar stories have been told in religious books and even evolution is represented in the dance. does anyone share my thought???

@tonycdrive it could be that you need to install language packages for languages other than English. Then again, you may still not understand.

IQ test was designed for and by hearing people, because it includes vocabularies and English reading and excludes ASL. Anyhow, avg. deaf child scores equal to avg. hearing child of the same age. Avg. deaf child of deaf parents scores higher. I believe deaf parents give the child more confidence. The book doesn't say we have higher spatial skill as I believe so. I noticed you have to teach hearing people ASL over and over until they get it right. For deaf people, they can just observe (part 2)

and understand. They even sign right the first time. You don't have good perception, even though your people apply it to some of your people. You think in sound as you call inner voice. We have inner sign. Picture is worth more than sound. Higher percent of deaf students are better at wrestling and football than hearing students, even though your people are given more mobility. Your parents mistakenly are more confidence in your people than my people. And so on. The book explains more. (part 3)

The word handicapped is best reserved to describe a disabled person who is unable to function owing to some property of the environment. You don't get it. I was saying that dancing has nothing to do with your ears. You need your eyes to know where you're and your brain to remember what you should dance while you're dancing. Hearing people do have their own physical limitations...90% of deaf people dream in color and 40 or 50% of hearing people dream in b & w; avg deaf people have far (part 1)

Some of us do alternative technique for sake of hearing audience in this hearing world. My deaf friend danced the best I ever saw. He just danced for himself and me. Far better than Michael Jackson. He even told story as he danced. Sort of breakdance/advanced mime mixture. You pointed out that I have mental deficiency. How do you explain that my IQ is higher than every thousands of hearing people? Your hatred of me is reflection of yourself. It's called mood congruent memory. (part 3)

(part 2) better periphereal vision; Deaf Chinese children write characters better and even in shorter cuts than hearing children; we don't need to teach ASL to deaf kids. Most of them can observe and understand. The first time they sign, they sign correctly. For hearing people, they sign wrong repeatly until you correct them. You also don't get it. I was saying we can do anything except a few things like being a pilot that is required to use microphone. (Part 2)

@Mahamaya000 Look, who just spoke of hatred? I remember your screen name that you insulted me months ago. Do you enjoy picking on minority or "micro-ity" like me? Do you have a life? I have a good reason to defend Deaf people and fight for our cause. We suffer abuse and discrimination on everything from education to jobs. Why don't you give me an example what was I saying that is not wisdom? FYI, I want peace.

Wrong. Deaf and hearing impaired ARE handicapped, by the exact definition of what being handicapped is. While it's possible to overcome ones one psychical limitations and shortcomings, they do put you at a disadvantage. More effort and alternative techniques are required to perform tasks that are easier while being able to hear. Ignorance appears to be your handicap. I suggest you work on it.
