I'm from Poland and currently living for few weeks in Albania, been in Spain lately too. I miss Polish building standards. When it's new or renovated it's always so well done.
Hello dear My name is Christopher Ody from Nigeria Please I really need your advice please 🙏 me and my wife are currently working on relocating to Europe this year and we have Poland and Lithuania on our mind from your travels experience which of this country will you advise someone to move to that has more jobs opportunities and are kind to immigrants I will be waiting for your response please 🙏
@odyibuzo8210 Don't go to Lithuania. I lived there in the main capital, and I would not recommend that place at all. Trust me, You are better off in Poland or even Norway...
I like the simple lifestyle in Poland but there are always headaches. Living abroad you always have to take the good with the bad. My grocery spending is a lot less. But for electronics you'll pay more. Also name brand clothing and perfumes are more expensive here. Now i do like buying contacts without needing a prescription. Also, as a person of darker skin you will catch people staring at you in smaller villages. The big cities not so much because the areas are more diverse..
Poland is 1000 years old, a monolith of white people. Now the influx of a culture completely foreign to us draws attention raises concern especially what is happening with the increase in migrants to Europe, countries like Germany, Sweden, England, the high level of crime there is increasing. This is shocking because I have seen Europe for 50 years and for several years it has been getting worse. Poland is at the top of the statistics of safe countries and we want it to stay that way.
Poland is for rich people. If you don't have a good job, you won't live here, just exist here. If you have to work alone without a wife/husband and rent a flat, you must find a job for min. PLN 7,000 net. However, you don't put anything or little from this amount. Most Poles don't earn so much. A lot of people live on the border of poverty.
@@bartboructravels1943 Almost 2 million people live in extreme poverty, another nearly two million are retirees who receive less than PLN 2,600 a month, and we also have almost 4 million people working for the minimum wage. It is impossible to live normally for such amounts of money, only to exist. Many people hide their poverty. You may not see it but it will get worse. Lots of people have mortgage loans or rent apartments, but even if you earn the national average for a single person, life here is not easy if you don't have your own apartment without a loan. Tourists think that Poland is cheap and nice, but for people who earn the minimum wage, life here is very difficult... this is the reality...
@@bartboructravels1943 Unfortunately, these are Central Statistical Office data, so I don't know what's funny about it. Just because you don't trip over homeless people while walking down the street doesn't mean they don't exist.
