same here my first map and what really got me into zombies I remember the first time I discovered jugg I had played the game for a year and finally figured it out... would have been nice to know about it earlier lol
It can just be so tedious sometimes, especially if you go down and have to go back to area 51 twice to get jug, the excavators are also unnecessary, it's annoying having to go back to the start room every seven rounds to stop it from happening, I freaken love the biodome though, moon isn't a bad map at all, it's just got some annoying things in it

Don't get why people hate moon at all, its personally my favourite map. -Easy to camp and train on it. -The astronaut having your friends gamertag was always a good laugh. -The gravity was fun, and if you didn't like it you could go to areas where there was gravity. -the map was biiiiig, a lot to explore. The hacker was a new and fun concept to use! -excavators made it a race to save your favourite area lol. -teleporting back to earth when you needed to PaP was soooo sick and even more fun when you had shit loads of weapons. -The easter egg was the best one in the entire zombies collection, that was so fun pulling off with your mates! -Introduced mule kick, a kickass perk! -it was a challenge to get used to, but it allowed easy strategies such as camping to be used too. Moon is amazing imo and really needs some love, the map design was amazing and totally unique- really shook up the experience of existing zombie maps! Sure its not perfect, but it was great!
PewDlePle i know it's kind of a pain in the ass, but teleporting back to earth was free anyway and its easy enough, transist's perks were more a pain in the ass cause if you went down you had to sprint round the entire map which sucked, but on Moon u simply ran onto a pad, went back to earth, got the perk and went back again.

honestly tranzit isn't a bad map. its dark its erry to play at night, and once u know how to use teleporters and know your way around the map it becomes super easy. like there's so much room to camp on the map.
You gotta remember, Verruckt back in the day was a huge step forward. It brought in perks, traps, the teddy bear, it had a really good camping spot (back in those days camping was all people did, not training), and multiple easter eggs. It's not really fair to rank it so low because "all it has is perks". It was the second map ever created so of course its lacking in todays standards, but it completely revolutionized zombies. It'll always have a special place in my heart and my respect, even if I can't play it like I play other maps today. Shangri-La, I understand your opinions but personally I love it. It was the first map to be bright and a much different atmosphere/setting. The monkeys are awesome and can be used to your advantage. The shreiker zombie is kind of annoying, but I LOVE the napalm zombie, he's badass. It was also the first REALLY complex easter egg (ascension was pretty easy), and I remember trying to complete it for the first time with some friends, sooo much fun and hard, it took like 3 hours. It was a mystery because it took like a week for people to figure it out and used in game clues instead of looking on the internet and being "the first youtuber in the world to complete it" which is all the easter eggs now a days, so lame af.
Moon is great but you need a team. Once you have team you can unlock everything with hacker on round 1. Then do EE by round 10. Boom perma-perks, no worries about having to get Jug again or losing perks to astronaut. Astronaut also helps you teleport around once you get perma-perks, making big map easier to navigate. Gravity adds a unique element to the map. It doesn't restrict sprinting, unless you decide to jump into a horde of zombies like an idiot. Gravity=increased mobility and jumping over obstacles. Pack a Punch is an adrenaline rush, gotta be quick and get in the fence, if not then run for you're life. Dome is also a great place to run trains with your team or jump around like you just don't care. Dome+No Gravity= Bouncy House of fun. Also if you ever need ammo simply have a friend throw Gersh while you hack powerup to max ammo. Anyways I believe why he hates moon so much is because he plays solo and not with a competent team. Moon can be extremely frustrating by yourself but if you have a coordinated team it's extremely fun.
I think where Patrick's frustration comes in is that he has said himself he's more of a solo player so he can't do the easter egg, therefore never fully escaping the astronaut. The astronaut and jugg location are the only things that bother me about this map.
My thoughts: 5. Love Verruckt, but I can understand why its on here. 4. Die Rise is okay. Definitly understand why its on here. 3. Moon? Yeah. I fucking hate moon. 2. Shangri La is okay but annoying. 1. I think EVERYBODY agrees. Tranzit sucked ass.

Moon is most probably my favourite map :') its such a great map in my opinion, every mistake you mentioned can be used to your advantage a lot. And shangri las easter egg was most probably the most interesting one it was so hard but i loved doing it.

I liked tranzit and die rise On tranzit I enjoy the challenge of waiting on the bus and running through the fog also I can just pack punch after I turn on the power it's easy I enjoy having to go through the map to get you perks and everything Die rise I enjoy all the jumps and the crawly things and I like the challenge on waiting on the elevator.

moon had great potential with its ideas like the hacker and QEDs but the gravity space man and the fact that jugg was a life long mission throws that fact off
i actually like tranzit a lot, yes it has problems, but that can be solved with the teleport trick at the start, if you use it correctly,by round 3 you should have the power on, jug, and a decent weapon,its just that a lot of people are afraid of going in the fog.

I know Zetsubou is pretty garbage, but worse than Tranzit?! Really... Zetsubou had the Skull of Nan Sapwe, and while it's a terrible map, that wonder weapon was unarguabally one of the best wonder weapons ever so for me at least even one good thing about the map makes it better than Tranzit.
Tranzit could have been awesome and epic… I liked the idea of a bus, of multiple locations, I liked the Apoclypse style … but it's like they made this great playspace, and then sat down and said, "okay, now, how can we just COMPLETELY screw up every thing on this map?" The Fog and the Denizens indeed are like the WORST thing ever created for any zombie map ever. Even WITHOUT the Denizens, the fog itself is just annoying and ugly - if they had just kept it all open and fog-free, then being able to wander in such a huge map could have been AWESOME! As it is, the best you can hope for is that by the end of one loop of the bus you have good enough weapons to train in the tunnel ...
+Steve Forsyth They had to add the fog. The map is so big, the console engines couldn't handle the gameplay without fog and you'd have freezing problems. Or so I've heard. The map is great if you learn it. Denizens are no problem with Galvaknuckles. Fog is nothing once you've learned the map. The only problem I have is the bus not being as awesome as the trailer made it out to be.
Stephen Dragneel Totally agree, TranZit is a fun map when you learn it first. It's really fun to travel and adventure in the fog. Also the Pack A Punch is really easy to get, don't let the UA-camrs fool you. You just have to place down a turbine in front of the steel door, and then you have your buddy with you on the bank hidden door. Once he goes inside there and stays there, the Pack A Punch will not close. You can also do this on Solo or alone in a Public Match where other people are on the Diner, hitting the box and downing (This is what happens to me all the time). You just run in the Town and the Pack A Punch door should be open. This is what I do. So, after all, It's a fun map when you learn it.
me and my friends did this glitch where you didnt need air on moon so you could take the hacker everywhere and honestly that took it from terrible to still my favorite zombies map of all time. Not worrying about air and all the shit the hacker can do made this shit so good im telling you man
Honestly, die rise is my favorite map in BO2! Tranzit was bad, but definitely not the worst. My ranking for BO2 is Die Rise Mob of the Dead Tranzit Buried Origins.
I would kill even to have a "crappy" dlc map. I play town most of the time and tranzit when my friends come over. I played town so much that i can cross the map without touching the lava once. lmao

The worst maps for me: 5.Buried: too easy 4.Die Rise: would've been a great map if it didn't have it problems 3.Five: I love this map but it's difficult and too close quarters 2.Verrükt: Close quarters 1.Origins. Jk that's my favorite map 1. Transhit: This map has so many damn problems that I don't know where to start. Patrick in his last list said many of the problems but he forgot some: The Jet gun, who thought that a 1 minute cool down time was great for a buildable "wonder weapon" that can be only used for 15 seconds was good. Next, why do zombies explode when on fire, are they trying to be like the naplam zombies? Finally, the map is way too big and dumber for its Easter egg. Oh yeah, you have to go through the corn maze with the fog and the denizens and you'll have to be lucky to get to the pylon the first time and not go outside of the maze.
Bruh I love buried and hate it at the same time. Buried is absolute shit but I like camping in jug area with packed an-94 and ray gun. There's also so many fucking glitches. Wall breaches and piles ups.

I don't care what anyone says, I hate Origins. I fuckin hate it. Allow me to list the reasons: 1.) The generators 2.) The Wunderfizz 3.) The PAP (not even worth it since you can get a staff and a free PAP weapon from the challenge) 4.) The upgrading of the staffs (getting them may be tedious, but that's actually the easy part) 5.) The keepers who attack the generators (after you have your weapons, it's not so bad, but still) 6.) The mud 7.) Trying to get the one inch punch (fuck those robots for closing them while I'm trying to fill the boxes) 8.) The robots (even with the golden helmet they're annoying) 9.) Jug location (you'll get trapped and downed if there's a zombie behind you) 10.) Quick Revive location (if you're playing solo, just quit once you go down) 11.) Speed Cola location (this is where you get crushed by the robot or have to turn the generator on and get downed, and now you have to get quick revive. Good luck) 12.) Double Tap II (can only get it through a challenge. Not even worth getting it.) 13.) The mud 14.) Tank isn't fast enough to outrun zombies? (pretty much useless after getting lighting parts too) 15.) The amount of times you have to press the jump button to get through this map 16.) No use trying to get Ray Gun MK I or II cause of staffs (plus, you almost never get them from the box anyways) 17.) Trying to get into a robot's foot but going to the wrong foot 18.) That one step in the EE with opening the rift (especially annoying in solo) 19.) Maxis drone fucking sucks (needs to recharge) 20.) PHD Flopper uselessness (fun to use, but you can only make use if you have Ray Gun Mk I) 21.) The mud 22.) SO MANY GLITCHES (get to Round 60-80 with upgraded fire staff and the game crashes, for one) 23.) NO VULTURE AID? (this wouldv'e made finding the wunderfizz easier) 24.) Never get anything useful from dig sites 25.) FALLING WALLS? in the Crazy Place 26.) The Crazy Place 27.) Where the staffs are located (no way to go but up. they could've put a lift at the bottom of the dig site) 28.) Elemental caves (once again, no way out) 29.) The mud 30.) If you're playing with randoms, you'll never get anything done 31.) Randoms stealing the staff you wanted 32.) Spending 50,000+ points trying to get MG, Ray Gun (Mk I and II), or any other good gun 33.) Mystery box locations (best locations are near Jug and/or Gen 3) 34.) Crafting table locations (best one is by tank) 35.) Not even Stamin-Up can save you from THE MUD 36.) I paid $15 for this map and I can't get a refund

Die Rise is really funny when playing with friends. Tranzit is not that bad to. Just dont play with randoms it sucks. Never played Moon Idd like to. Looks like a cool map.
I kinda have mixed feelings about Moon. Yeah, the excavators are really annoying and the Astronaut is the dumbest boss, like friggin ever. But on the other hand, YOU ARE ON THE FRIGGIN MOON! Being on the moon I think is the only thing that keeps it out of my top 3 worst maps. Because space. Seriously though, IMO, the map is fun for one minute then pisses me off the next. I keep changing my opinion of whether it's good or if it's horrible.

Actually, people loved it on day one, but that's because it came after the piece of shit called Tranzit. Then people realized that Die Rise isn't that good. First of all, the elevators take too damn long to come. Second, the jumpingjacks are just Nova crawlers who finally learned how to jump. But worst of all, most of people's deaths on Die Rise is because they fell off the map.
RedEye2025 Die Rise is good. There Elevators, which in real life takes a long time to go up and down. U don't like that fact? Then don't gt perks. And, people know where the boundaries are. It's there own fault if they fall off the map

It's not really fair to rank it so low because "all it has is perks". It was the second map ever created so of course its lacking in todays standards, but it completely revolutionized zombies. It'll always have a special place in my heart and my respect, even if I can't play it like I play other maps today.
Shangri-La, I understand your opinions but personally I love it. It was the first map to be bright and a much different atmosphere/setting. The monkeys are awesome and can be used to your advantage. The shreiker zombie is kind of annoying, but I LOVE the napalm zombie, he's badass. It was also the first REALLY complex easter egg (ascension was pretty easy), and I remember trying to complete it for the first time with some friends, sooo much fun and hard, it took like 3 hours. It was a mystery because it took like a week for people to figure it out and used in game clues instead of looking on the internet and being "the first youtuber in the world to complete it" which is all the easter eggs now a days, so lame af.
Moon is great but you need a team.
Once you have team you can unlock everything with hacker on round 1.
Then do EE by round 10.
Boom perma-perks, no worries about having to get Jug again or losing perks to astronaut.
Astronaut also helps you teleport around once you get perma-perks, making big map easier to navigate.
Gravity adds a unique element to the map. It doesn't restrict sprinting, unless you decide to jump into a horde of zombies like an idiot.
Gravity=increased mobility and jumping over obstacles.
Pack a Punch is an adrenaline rush, gotta be quick and get in the fence, if not then run for you're life.
Dome is also a great place to run trains with your team or jump around like you just don't care.
Dome+No Gravity= Bouncy House of fun.
Also if you ever need ammo simply have a friend throw Gersh while you hack powerup to max ammo.
Anyways I believe why he hates moon so much is because he plays solo and not with a competent team. Moon can be extremely frustrating by yourself but if you have a coordinated team it's extremely fun.

I think where Patrick's frustration comes in is that he has said himself he's more of a solo player so he can't do the easter egg, therefore never fully escaping the astronaut. The astronaut and jugg location are the only things that bother me about this map.

yes it has problems, but that can be solved with the teleport trick at the start, if you use it correctly,by round 3 you should have the power on, jug, and a decent weapon,its just that a lot of people are afraid of going in the fog.

Tranzit could have been awesome and epic… I liked the idea of a bus, of multiple locations, I liked the Apoclypse style … but it's like they made this great playspace, and then sat down and said, "okay, now, how can we just COMPLETELY screw up every thing on this map?"
The Fog and the Denizens indeed are like the WORST thing ever created for any zombie map ever. Even WITHOUT the Denizens, the fog itself is just annoying and ugly - if they had just kept it all open and fog-free, then being able to wander in such a huge map could have been AWESOME!
As it is, the best you can hope for is that by the end of one loop of the bus you have good enough weapons to train in the tunnel ...

+Steve Forsyth They had to add the fog. The map is so big, the console engines couldn't handle the gameplay without fog and you'd have freezing problems. Or so I've heard. The map is great if you learn it. Denizens are no problem with Galvaknuckles. Fog is nothing once you've learned the map. The only problem I have is the bus not being as awesome as the trailer made it out to be.
Stephen Dragneel Totally agree, TranZit is a fun map when you learn it first. It's really fun to travel and adventure in the fog. Also the Pack A Punch is really easy to get, don't let the UA-camrs fool you. You just have to place down a turbine in front of the steel door, and then you have your buddy with you on the bank hidden door. Once he goes inside there and stays there, the Pack A Punch will not close. You can also do this on Solo or alone in a Public Match where other people are on the Diner, hitting the box and downing (This is what happens to me all the time). You just run in the Town and the Pack A Punch door should be open. This is what I do. So, after all, It's a fun map when you learn it.

1. Transhit: This map has so many damn problems that I don't know where to start. Patrick in his last list said many of the problems but he forgot some: The Jet gun, who thought that a 1 minute cool down time was great for a buildable "wonder weapon" that can be only used for 15 seconds was good. Next, why do zombies explode when on fire, are they trying to be like the naplam zombies? Finally, the map is way too big and dumber for its Easter egg. Oh yeah, you have to go through the corn maze with the fog and the denizens and you'll have to be lucky to get to the pylon the first time and not go outside of the maze.
Bruh I love buried and hate it at the same time. Buried is absolute shit but I like camping in jug area with packed an-94 and ray gun. There's also so many fucking glitches. Wall breaches and piles ups.

There actually is a way to make the elevators go up faster on die rise while ur on them jump on them repeatedly it makes them go up faster
I don't care what anyone says, I hate Origins. I fuckin hate it. Allow me to list the reasons:
1.) The generators
2.) The Wunderfizz
3.) The PAP (not even worth it since you can get a staff and a free PAP weapon from the challenge)
4.) The upgrading of the staffs (getting them may be tedious, but that's actually the easy part)
5.) The keepers who attack the generators (after you have your weapons, it's not so bad, but still)
6.) The mud
7.) Trying to get the one inch punch (fuck those robots for closing them while I'm trying to fill the boxes)
8.) The robots (even with the golden helmet they're annoying)
9.) Jug location (you'll get trapped and downed if there's a zombie behind you)
10.) Quick Revive location (if you're playing solo, just quit once you go down)
11.) Speed Cola location (this is where you get crushed by the robot or have to turn the generator on and get downed, and now you have to get quick revive. Good luck)
12.) Double Tap II (can only get it through a challenge. Not even worth getting it.)
13.) The mud
14.) Tank isn't fast enough to outrun zombies? (pretty much useless after getting lighting parts too)
15.) The amount of times you have to press the jump button to get through this map
16.) No use trying to get Ray Gun MK I or II cause of staffs (plus, you almost never get them from the box anyways)
17.) Trying to get into a robot's foot but going to the wrong foot
18.) That one step in the EE with opening the rift (especially annoying in solo)
19.) Maxis drone fucking sucks (needs to recharge)
20.) PHD Flopper uselessness (fun to use, but you can only make use if you have Ray Gun Mk I)
21.) The mud
22.) SO MANY GLITCHES (get to Round 60-80 with upgraded fire staff and the game crashes, for one)
23.) NO VULTURE AID? (this wouldv'e made finding the wunderfizz easier)
24.) Never get anything useful from dig sites
25.) FALLING WALLS? in the Crazy Place

27.) Where the staffs are located (no way to go but up. they could've put a lift at the bottom of the dig site)
28.) Elemental caves (once again, no way out)

30.) If you're playing with randoms, you'll never get anything done

32.) Spending 50,000+ points trying to get MG, Ray Gun (Mk I and II), or any other good gun
33.) Mystery box locations (best locations are near Jug and/or Gen 3)
34.) Crafting table locations (best one is by tank)
35.) Not even Stamin-Up can save you from THE MUD

I kinda have mixed feelings about Moon. Yeah, the excavators are really annoying and the Astronaut is the dumbest boss, like friggin ever. But on the other hand, YOU ARE ON THE FRIGGIN MOON! Being on the moon I think is the only thing that keeps it out of my top 3 worst maps. Because space.
Seriously though, IMO, the map is fun for one minute then pisses me off the next. I keep changing my opinion of whether it's good or if it's horrible.

Actually, people loved it on day one, but that's because it came after the piece of shit called Tranzit. Then people realized that Die Rise isn't that good. First of all, the elevators take too damn long to come. Second, the jumpingjacks are just Nova crawlers who finally learned how to jump. But worst of all, most of people's deaths on Die Rise is because they fell off the map.

what are you smoking mate? :P Moon is a good map people don't like it because their bad at this game you have to be good at it, you can stop the excavators from ripping stuff up. I agree with the shangri la one that was not that great it was interesting tho with the traps and stuff. And yeah Transit was shit

it is somewhat annoying to go back to earth twice for jugg but honestly you can run trains on moon easy its so big in the dome you dont need jugg, im not saying pats a shit player im just saying moon brought an interesting aspect to zombies to keep it fresh if it was easy no one would play it because theirs no challenge

to me the 5 worst maps, 5 shangra la, 4 moon, 3 veruct, 2 die rise, 1 tranzit. we had the same pat but i didint do it in the sameway as you.
