As someone who's never seen movies before I like to imagine every movie name he says is some horrible curse he's casting on his opponents and he's actually killing them. He's killing people. He's fucking killing them.
Sometimes it's not just him. Cine2Nerdle, it turns out, uses TMDb to get the movie data. TMDb tries to pick just a few main tags per movie, and consequently doesn't have Tangled tagged as Fantasy or Romance (it's "Animation, Family, Adventure," but Adventure doesn't show up on C2N for some reason), but on IMDB (which presumably isn't used because it has way more main tags per movie, which would introduce needless clutter) it is tagged "Teen Fantasy" and "Teen Romance" in addition to a bunch of other things. The problem I see is that on TMDb tags like "Animation" and "Family" which have no relevance to the battle system are competing with genre tags, which leads to some movies that should be in a scoring genre getting left out. I think Tangled should *definitely* count for Fantasy, for example. Edit: I just checked Frozen and it *is* a Fantasy on TMDb but it's listed last and C2N cuts off the list at 3 tags, kumano5 deserved that point!
Either one goes crazy if you've watched even like, 2 movies from Hong Kong. You can get to both Jackie Chan and Wong Kar-Wai within two guesses from there.
Adding the win conditions really changes the game. Now you can strategize much more thoroughly around your endgame, and it means you don’t just need to be a human IMDB
Lust caution was a surprising pivot but NL really was slopmaxxing, hence proving this game is not a gentleman's duel but just a dirty street brawl to decide who wins and who dies.
"The cop from 'There's Something About Marry' is one of the bad guys in 'Kingpin'" Is fuckin wild to me. I will never understand how he can recall that information.
I would love a cine2nerdle but for music. its definitely what I'm more comfortable with. I love watching NL dominate with cinema though. So glad to see this game make a return on the channel
Bro has been getting some easy matchups, not to discount his knowledge. But when I got near 1200 it started matching me with a bunch of 1500-1900s who either were cheating or had really solid strategies
He loves the slop, born to slop. Eats it up. His father was a mudder. His mother was a mudder.

The Ryan Reynolds Buried Gambit is very real and very terrifying.

The crazy rich asians to everything everywhere transposition seems to be his favorite

NL having an encyclopedic knowledge of movies but being utterly terrible at intuiting what genre a movie belongs to is peak

I watched this on the Libertary of Lebayou, but I'll watch again.
Same, brother, same. Gotta watch for the Bram Stroker.
8:20 Bronson is in love with jail, it's a bona fide romance movie.
Adding the win cons must be the greatest upgrade for this game ever for a guy like NL
Norrth lion

You merely adopted the slop. The egg was born in it, molded by it.
Queen Latifah was so good in Tenet
the rules are simple: if he can name a woman, it's a romance
43:37 the irony of him inquiring about the movie while the screen shows "clueless" bottom right. 😂
that first guy really need to switch from fantasys to thrillers

the campus code killshot was brutal. hard to watch honestly
He has finally found a game he's good at. Amazing stuff. Only took 14 years.
Julia would risk it all for Frank, I can't believe Hellraiser isn't a romance
I tell ya this stuff does not get old
Who said I wanted to get out of the slop
16:40 was a missed opportunity to hit them with No Escape for the funny.
sorry but you're not a true kino enjoyer unless you consider Dirty Grandpa (2016) a romance
he’s absolutely reaching Grandmaster

What's with the key icon that says The Notebook next to it every so often?
we're staying in the slop wednesdays
You couldn’t get sloppier stakes if you went to Truffoni’s
NL should play Cat God Ranch, it's a mix between Super Auto Pets and Luck be a Landlord.
6:35 whoa, what's with the 'Yes Dear' slander? lol.
CINe2NERDLE BABY LETS GOOOO
three thousand years of longing not being a romance is actually a scam wtf
