I just bought a 1655 that I’m turning into a super farm / light pro stock pulling tractor💪 I love the sheet metal design on the Oliver and there’s not very many lt.pro olie’s
Can't remember the # of hours in the manual, 3208, redo the bottom end. I found that so funny. Although, with proper maintenance, they will run forever. I knew a guy bought 2, 2255s new. He never abused them & they still run. They have been semi-retired for years and will fire up today. I like the other color of green, but I've got to give credit, where credit is due.
Boy if I could ever build a 2255 like that one with ROPS and a turbo, I would be one happy man. Perfect combination of stock looking tractor with some more power! You know much about his tractor or where he is from?
Plowboy68 I'm more in the curious stage right now. I don't have the time or funds haha. It's a very interesting tractor because to me, it doesn't look like a real 2255. I could be wrong. I'd just love to learn more about Cat powered Oliver pullers in general.
Grew up with 2 77s 2 1650s 1750 1855 and a 1955. Makes a lot of memories
The 1650 we used on the farm as a kid is now a pulling tractor somewhere in the Iowa/Wisconsin area.

He's from north central Iowa. I can get you more info if you're serious.
