I did twice a week, the night before shampooing, my bald spots are gone! Edit: I use the Mielle one, and results came after three months. I still use it around my faceline and stopped tight hairstyles
I have been applying rosemary oil ( with some other ingredients added to it). I see a lot more difference now! Bald spots are almost gone! I massage my scalp everyday for 5-10 mins
@@snhb_x6629 The time it takes to see results when using rosemary oil can vary depending on factors like your hair type, how often you use it, and the specific issue you're targeting. Some people may notice improvements in scalp health and hair growth within a few weeks of consistent use, while others may take longer. It's important to be patient and give it time to work its magic!
Just use the oil like an hour before you wash your hair, so basically whenever you wash your hair. And you don’t need to use a lot, it just depends on how well you massage it into your scalp, I use like 5 to 6 drops and massage it in really well. Instead of usinn your fingers you can also use the scrubber thingy people use to massage their shampoo in.
Sounds like you've got your haircare routine down to a science! Using the oil about an hour before washing sounds like a perfect timing hack. And hey, less is more, right? Five to six drops and a good massage do the trick. Plus, that scrubber thingy? Genius move for a spa-like experience right at home! 🤩

One thing i will say is, if you have hair loss out of nowhere, it may be due to low iron. My hair started falling out a few months ago (not in clumps but strands) making it go thinner. Went to my doctors and had a few blood tests to find out i have low iron. One of the symptoms of it is hair loss, so if you want to use rosemary oil, while it will make your hair shiny and soft, it won't necessarily work if there's an underlying issue.
Thanks for sharing your experience and insight! You're right - hair loss could be a sign of health issues like low iron levels or other nutritional deficiencies. :)
@MariisRoom for the low iron, I would start taking iron supplements, you can get a liquid form or pill form. But that takes quite some time for your body to get used to it. In the meantime, it would be best to wash your hair 1-2 rimes a week. Anymore could be overwashing. Which can cause the hair follicles to build up with oil, which can cause more hair loss
@@MariisRoom Low iron can lead to hair thinning, but you can tackle it by boosting your iron intake with foods like meat, fish, beans, and spinach. Add in some vitamin C-rich foods for better absorption. If that's not enough, ask your doc about iron supplements. Just watch out for iron blockers like caffeine and dairy. And remember, healthy hair isn't just about iron-gentle care, a balanced diet, and staying chill all play a part. If you're still worried, a chat with your doc can clear things up.
Iv been boiling onions and using the water to wash my hair, let it air dry and absorb. Iv been doing this for 3 months and my hair is sprouting like crazy. I put it on my eyebrows and i have crazy little hairs growing too. Routine: Oil hair (rosemary) Scalp exfoliation Shampoo Onion water Seal it with cantu I also alternate between clove water, rice water, and the onion. Good luck!
That's a really cool idea, but if it's doing great things for you, that's awesome! Your commitment to keeping your hair healthy is really paying off, especially with those new hairs popping up. Keep it up with your routine - you're doing great! ^^
@@rerezatreh7599 I put sea salt & fig hair spray from Old Navy in it. I always get compliments on how good I smell. Smell will go away once you put hair products in, especially the scented ones. Example: Aussie hairspray, cantu creams, mousses, gel, etc.
Yes exactly I really would like it if hair influencers would break down why and what to use for what kind of hair types. I'm also surprised that they're not talking about hair porosity very much (from what I've seen) you can break down so many products and ingredients which are good or bad for your hair by checking your porosity levels. Save money by not having to test products out as much and how to manage hair wash days
Btw if you want to know your porosity levels: Take a 2-3 inch clean and dry hair, put it in a cup of water and let it sit for 3-5 minutes. After that time, check it •If it's laying on the surface of the water: low porosity •If it's in the middle: normal porosity (ideal) •If it's at the bottom: high porosity •Low porosity= hair doesn't absorb moisture and doesn't release it either very well •Normal porosity= hair absorbs moisture well and releases moisture well •High porosity= hair that easily absorbs moisture but also releases moisture easily Note: having low or high porosity hair doesn't mean it's unhealthy, it's just a hair type. Hope this helps! 🩷
THISSSS cause i remember the coconut oil craze for curly hair and i tried it on my hair and it got even frizzier and later learned my hair is low porosity and i should be using oils that are lighter
Oh, I hear you! It'd be great if hair influencers got into the nitty-gritty stuff like hair types and porosity. Knowing all that can really save you a bunch of time and cash on product trials. Hopefully, they start getting into those details soon! 💁♀️✨

I just use it twice a week and use a massager. I have also changed my shampoo and the results have been pretty good. My hair is far less damaged and i am also seeing less hair fall.
How long have you been using rosemary oil before you saw results?. I'm thinking about diluting it with some water first as I have heard it can lead to a burn if you apply it directly in oil form.
Definitely! Applying oil to your hair is a long-standing tradition in South Asian culture, passed down from one generation to the next. Grandma always has the best advice, doesn't she?
If I say this I might get a lot of hate but coconut oil works just the same as rosemary on my scalp , and I'm not buying an expensive bottle. My hair might be frizzy but it's naturally thick and never had a trouble with hair growth. People need to find what is best for them instead of jumping the bandwagon, who knows, you might find something cheaper!

My daughter is using Rosemary Water twice a day from 10/23 until now 03/24 her hair has grown 5 inches. Now maybe she's going through a growth spur but really can't beat trying it. Buying fresh rosemary boil water drop it in the hot water let it infuse and spray away twice a day.

Let me say it , if you have oily scalp and you don't like to wash your hair more than once or twice a week (some places water is bad and we suppose to), DO NOT use rosemary oil and use rosemary water Please please use the rosemary water because too much oil on scalp actually cause hair loss
That's a good point! Rosemary water can be a lighter option for people with oily scalps or those who don't like washing their hair too often. It's all about figuring out what works best for your hair and what you like. Thanks for sharing that helpful tip! 😉
Guys, some people have been seeing bad results because rosemary oil is a strong oil. You should definitely dilute it with some carrier oil to avoid damaging your hair.
I faced sudden hairfall recently. I came across this rosemary oil trend on internet and bought rosemary oil. It would be helpful if someone just tell me how i am supposed to use it as i am confused after watching different people telling different experiences. Step by step guide will be so helpful.
Sure thing! Here's a simple step-by-step guide to using rosemary oil for your hair: First, dilute a few drops of rosemary oil with a carrier oil like coconut or olive oil. Then, massage the mixture into your scalp gently using your fingertips, focusing on areas with hair fall. Leave it in for about 30 minutes to an hour, then shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Repeat this process a few times a week for the best results. That should help you get started with using rosemary oil for your hair! ^^
there's no universal recepy for Rosemary oil. I, can only say I had sudden hairfall from extreme stress and what helped for me was a haircut to cut off the breakage and start a cure by putting rosemary in my shampoo and make a hairoil with a base of couple of base oils like almond oil, coconut oil, olive oil, cator oil, etc... and rosemary oil and apply it at least an hour (I leave it at least 3 hours) before washing your hair. Never ever use pure rosemary oil, it's an essential oil and they are to powerfull and can irritate, even burn your skin, that's, why it's diluted with other benefitial oils. You'll have to wash your hair twice with shampoo after a and a good hair masc. In my case my hair stopped falling out after a week or two and new hair started growing on bald spots very soon, I saw the difference after a few weeks. Don't be afraid to try and find the best solution for you. Everybody is different and so is your hair and you can find a way that fits you the most.
Totally! When used correctly, rosemary oil can definitely deliver results. It's all about finding what works best for your hair. Keep at it, and you'll see the difference! 🌿✨
I wash my hair every sunday. I have the pure rosemary oil you only use 2 drops of it and mix it with another oil. But she is absolutely right. People expect perfect results with just one use.
Well I'm using rosemary water everyday and i got just an amazing results, before i have very thin hairs and nonstop hairfall but now everything is changed
@@nameeraayaz4806 You typically don't need to wash your hair daily when using rosemary oil or rosemary water. However, it ultimately depends on your hair type, scalp condition, and personal preference.
Olive oil and a bit of lemon juice, huh? That's an interesting combo! Olive oil is super moisturizing, and lemon juice could help clarify the scalp. Plus, both are packed with nutrients that might promote hair health. Just be careful with the lemon juice-it can be drying if used too much. Give it a try and see how your hair and scalp respond!
And if you have white hair be sure you’re going to grow a lot more, I have lots of white hair but after using this oil it Trebled maybe even more , it’s crazy right now
I have to disagree from experience. I've been using rosemary oil twice a week mixed with oils like coconut, olive, or castor, just 5-6 drops of it per use, and my hairline is more apparent, and my hair has grown from shoulder length to waistlength. You are right about one thing however is that it does take time. For me, it took about 9 months of consistency to get this far.

I want to use a rosemary oil but my issue is that my hair is so thick and coarse and my natural hair type is curly, and it's so annoying me so I want to soften and trim it and maybe straighten it without using heat, so does rosemary oil help me to do that or is there another better way? I've heard of comb scissors for trimming hair but does it work?
Rosemary oil can definitely help soften and condition your thick, curly hair, making it more manageable. While it won't straighten your hair permanently, it can help with styling. As for trimming, comb scissors can be handy for tidying up between salon visits, just be careful not to cut too much at once. If you want to straighten without heat, try braiding your wet hair or using rollers for a smoother look. It's all about finding what works best for you! 😊

Should I use rosemary oil or rosemary water? I have really thin hair and my roots are mostly oily but my hair ends are usually dry. Also should I use rosemary only my roots or whole hair?
For thin hair with oily roots and dry ends, rosemary oil is best for the scalp to promote growth and manage oiliness at the roots. Rosemary water is lighter and can be used overall, focusing on both roots and ends. Try both to see what suits you, but consistency is key for results!
Soulflower's rosemary oil is potent, so it's usually best to mix it with a carrier oil like coconut or jojoba to avoid irritation. Just a few drops in a carrier oil should do the trick!
Absolutely! Multiple studies have shown that using rosemary oil multiple times a week can still be effective for hair growth. Whether daily or a few times a week, consistency in application is key to achieving results.
To use rosemary oil safely and effectively, dilute it with a carrier oil like coconut or jojoba oil. Mix a few drops of rosemary oil with a tablespoon of carrier oil and apply it directly to your scalp. Massage gently for a few minutes to stimulate circulation, then leave it on for at least 30 minutes or overnight before washing it out with shampoo. However, if you're not noticing any changes after several months, it might be worth reassessing a few things. Are you using enough oil each time? Are you massaging it into your scalp thoroughly? Also, consider other factors that could affect your hair health, like diet, stress levels, and overall hair care routine. Keep at it, and hopefully, you'll start seeing some improvements soon!

Using rosemary water daily and shampooing only a few times a week can work well, especially if your scalp and hair respond positively to it. You don't necessarily need to shampoo right after applying rosemary water each time. Rosemary water is often gentle and can be left in without shampooing immediately.
Both options have their perks! If you're going for convenience, market-bought rosemary oil can be great since it's readily available and often already formulated for hair care. But if you're into DIY and want to control the ingredients, homemade rosemary oil can be awesome too! Just make sure you're using high-quality rosemary and a carrier oil like olive or coconut. Experiment and see which works best for you!

Now, when using oils like rosemary oil, start by diluting it with a carrier oil such as coconut or almond oil to reduce the risk of irritation. Massage it gently into your scalp once or twice a week, and see how your scalp reacts. Everyone's hair and scalp are different so you might need some trial and error to find what works best for you.

Yes, you can definitely use homemade infused rosemary and other herbs with coconut oil daily if it's a common practice in India.

What helps with the low iron and hair thinning ?
@@toast4736 That's some really helpful info. :)
Iv been boiling onions and using the water to wash my hair, let it air dry and absorb. Iv been doing this for 3 months and my hair is sprouting like crazy. I put it on my eyebrows and i have crazy little hairs growing too.
Routine:
Oil hair (rosemary)
Scalp exfoliation
Shampoo
Onion water
Seal it with cantu
I also alternate between clove water, rice water, and the onion. Good luck!
That's a really cool idea, but if it's doing great things for you, that's awesome! Your commitment to keeping your hair healthy is really paying off, especially with those new hairs popping up. Keep it up with your routine - you're doing great! ^^
you don't wash ur hair after? what about the smell? how long did it take u to see results
@@rerezatreh7599 I put sea salt & fig hair spray from Old Navy in it. I always get compliments on how good I smell. Smell will go away once you put hair products in, especially the scented ones. Example: Aussie hairspray, cantu creams, mousses, gel, etc.
Yes exactly
I really would like it if hair influencers would break down why and what to use for what kind of hair types.
I'm also surprised that they're not talking about hair porosity very much (from what I've seen) you can break down so many products and ingredients which are good or bad for your hair by checking your porosity levels. Save money by not having to test products out as much and how to manage hair wash days
Btw if you want to know your porosity levels:
Take a 2-3 inch clean and dry hair, put it in a cup of water and let it sit for 3-5 minutes. After that time, check it
•If it's laying on the surface of the water: low porosity
•If it's in the middle: normal porosity (ideal)
•If it's at the bottom: high porosity
•Low porosity= hair doesn't absorb moisture and doesn't release it either very well
•Normal porosity= hair absorbs moisture well and releases moisture well
•High porosity= hair that easily absorbs moisture but also releases moisture easily
Note: having low or high porosity hair doesn't mean it's unhealthy, it's just a hair type.

That should help you get started with using rosemary oil for your hair!

there's no universal recepy for Rosemary oil. @@wendyamsterdam8482 It's so annoying when something doesn't work as you hoped, especially when you've been doing it the same way for a while. Hair care can be tricky because what works for one person might not work for someone else. Maybe using the product often was too much for your hair, or maybe that specific oil just didn't agree with your hair type. You could try a different routine or product to see if it makes a difference. Don't give up-trying out different things can help you figure out what's best for you!
I did it once a week and my hair is thicker
Good alternative if your hair isn't that bad
It's great that you found a simple yet effective alternative that works for you. :)
But remember guys! Curly hair doesn’t mean unhealthy hair and straight hair doesn’t mean healthy
Absolutely! Hair comes in so many different textures and types, and each one is beautiful in its own way. 🥰🥰
I make my own rosemary oil & leave in for 2 hours twice a week
That's awesome! Making your own rosemary oil allows you to customize it to suit your hair's needs perfectly.
@@hiaraextensions It takes me 2 days to make the oil
@@Vineethajojo Wow, that's a big commitment to your haircare routine! Making your own rosemary oil seems like a lot of effort. 💗💗
Tip: Before taking a bath put on oli because afterwards it just ruins your hair..
Great tip! Thanks for sharing! Oiling before a bath can really protect your hair from the drying effects of shampoo.
Twice a day ? So did they wash it everytime they applied it ?
Usually, you wouldn't need to wash your hair every time you apply it unless you're using a lot and it's making your hair greasy. Always adjust based on how your hair responds!
What about info on carrier oil needed, not straight essential oil!
Ah, gotcha! Carrier oils are the unsung heroes in the haircare game. They're like the sidekicks that make essential oils shine. From coconut to jojoba, they're the perfect partners to dilute those potent essential oils and keep our hair happy and healthy. Always good to have the full scoop!
We cannot apply oils twice a day.. That's not possible.
We can use rosemary water as a hairspray. That will help too.
You're right, applying oils twice a day might not be practical for everyone, especially in larger quantities. However, if using only minimal amounts, it could be manageable.
Where did you buy the screw-on comb? And what oil do you recommend (brand)? Thanks
Screw-on combs are usually available online or at beauty supply stores. As for oil brands, it depends on your preference and what works for your hair type. Some popular options for rosemary oil include Radha Beauty, Now Foods, and Majestic Pure. Just make sure to choose a reputable brand with high-quality, pure oils. It's all about finding what works best for you! ^^
Please please reply , i want to use rosemary oil ,
1. which brand oil should i use plss provide if you have link
2. I have naturally very black here , is this possible that rosemary oil can change my hair colour , becoz i don't want to change my hair colour , please tell me if there is any chance of hair colour change
Sorry for bad English 🙏
You don't overuse those things especially on your hair
Exactly! It's like that saying, "everything in moderation," right? Using too much of anything, even natural remedies like oils, can sometimes do more harm than good.
Imagine going to work with the bald patches accentuated by the oiling. Working people can use only 3 times a week max and wash out each time!
Oh, totally! It's all about finding the right balance. definitely a good call to limit it to a few times a week and make sure to wash it out each time.

If my mum doesn't have long hair does that mean I can't also have long hair even though i apply rosemary oil on my hair
Not necessarily! Hair length can depend on various factors like genetics, hair care routine, and overall health. So, even if your mom doesn't have long hair, applying rosemary oil might still help your hair grow longer if it works well for you. Give it a try and see how it goes!
Hi, last night I was looking for rosemary hair oil to buy for growth, but I noticed a lot of people selling the same product but I don’t know which one to buy and am worried that it would be fake, so is there a official website that I can buy rosemary oil?? Like I see a lot on TikTok shop, ebay Amazon etc. thanks 💕
Hey there! Just tap the view products icon on this video, and it'll take you to the official website where you can buy rosemary oil. Give it a try! :)
Is soulflower's rosemary oil needs to be mix with other oil or not?
Soulflower's rosemary oil is potent, so it's usually best to mix it with a carrier oil like coconut or jojoba to avoid irritation. Just a few drops in a carrier oil should do the trick!
There were multiple studies done. And using it multiple times a week was effective too sooooo…
Absolutely! Multiple studies have shown that using rosemary oil multiple times a week can still be effective for hair growth. Whether daily or a few times a week, consistency in application is key to achieving results.
Video didn't say how exactly we are supposed to use it though
To use rosemary oil safely and effectively, dilute it with a carrier oil like coconut or jojoba oil. Mix a few drops of rosemary oil with a tablespoon of carrier oil and apply it directly to your scalp. Massage gently for a few minutes to stimulate circulation, then leave it on for at least 30 minutes or overnight before washing it out with shampoo. This method helps nourish the scalp and promote hair growth without causing irritation.
i use rosemary oil with my shampoo for softening and making my hair straight my hair not for gorwth or thikening i hate thick hair

Can you help me with something that I've heard recently that at the beginning of this oil we'll lose hair ? Is it true ? If so ,how long does it take to stop?
Nah it's not true rosemary promote hair growth not it loss.. I'm using rosemary for more than a year and it real helps in controlling hairfall 😊
Yeah, it's possible to see some hair shedding when you start using rosemary oil or any new treatment. It's like your hair's way of adjusting. Usually, it stops after a few weeks to a couple of months as your hair gets used to it. But if it keeps going or you're worried, it's a good idea to chat with a doc just to be sure.

Can anyone suggest me how to use Rosemary water for preventing hair fall and promote hair growth?
And how much time it takes...
Sure thing! For rosemary water, just rinse your hair with it after shampooing. Leave it in for a few minutes, then rinse it out. It's pretty straightforward! As for results, it varies from person to person, but you might start seeing changes after a few weeks of regular use.
Does it work for African hair?
Absolutely, rosemary oil can work wonders for African hair too! It's not just about hair type, but more about the scalp health and stimulating hair follicles, which rosemary oil is known to do.
I have it diluted in a mist bottle with distilled water.
That sounds like a great way to use rosemary oil! Diluting it in a mist bottle with distilled water makes it easy to apply evenly to your hair and scalp.
I am 18 yrs old and i couldnt control my hairfall does this really works for all
Rosemary oil can help reduce hair fall and promote growth for some people, but it's important to remember that everyone's hair is different. It's worth giving it a try, but what works for one person may not work the same for another.
I hv been using rosemary oil almost like 4-5 days a week but idk if I’m doing anything wrong it just is not showing any results. What am I doing wrong. I’ve been using it for abt 3-4 months now
Hmm, it sounds like you've been pretty consistent with the rosemary oil! Sometimes, it can take a while to see results, so don't lose hope just yet.
How about all the men. Does it work well for any men. Would like to hear comments from the man's side of using rosemary oil.
Totally! Rosemary oil isn't just for the ladies-it can work wonders for men's hair too. It's known for stimulating hair growth and improving scalp health, which are concerns for anyone, regardless of gender. We'd love to hear from guys who've tried it out too! So, fellas, if you've given rosemary oil a shot, feel free to chime in with your experiences!😉
Can i use rosemary water everyday and shampoo just 2 or three times..? Is it necessary to shampoo after applying rosemary everytime?
Using rosemary water daily and shampooing only a few times a week can work well, especially if your scalp and hair respond positively to it. You don't necessarily need to shampoo right after applying rosemary water each time. Rosemary water is often gentle and can be left in without shampooing immediately.
Okk but which rosemary oil is good market one or home made.
Im 16 and I'm looking my hairs I have been trying many things to get my hair back . I want to try this it would be nice if you plase guide my how to use it the right way and some more details. because no matter what oil I apply even after washing the next day I get small bumps in my scalp which hurts a lot for 3 4 days and then dry up .
I'm really afraid .What if I never gain my hair back I'm just 16:(
And also if it is effective for every one .
I will be really grateful.
I'm really sorry to hear about your hair and scalp troubles. Dealing with bumps and irritation on your scalp can be tough, especially at your age. It's important to get that checked out by a dermatologist or healthcare professional to figure out what's causing it and how to treat it properly.
