Hi, love the video 😊. I'm new to quilting, I have arthritis in my hands, I need to find a new rotary cutter, can you suggest a rotary cutter that would work, I'm not sure what to look for, please and thank you.

Hi Rachel, so sorry for the delay in replying. Fiskars used to make an ergonomic rotary cutter which is perfect for anyone with mobility issues. The bad news is that they seem to have stopped making them (although I am going to a trade show tomorrow so I will ask Fiskars when I'm there); the good news I have one in stock on my online shop. If nothing else, this link will at least show you what to look for: www.thepatchworkshop.co.uk/products/fiskars-pivoting-rotary-cutter-45mm-blade I'll let you know any updates after I've been to the show tomorrow though 😊 Hope that helps in the meantime. Kim x

Hi Rachel, I had a long chat to the lovely guy from Olfa at the trade show this week and he said the best one is the ergonomic rotary cutter - amzn.eu/d/1QwSSeI (that’s Amazon UK but at least you’ll know what to look for if you’re not in the UK). He said that you press in the handle to release the guard, then click the button to hold it in place while you cut. Evidently, the way that they design them makes them easy for anyone with hand and joint mobility issues to hold. I hope that helps ☺️ x
