The attention to detail is amazing!
Your perfectionism shines through with the hamburger patties, you didn't need to color the whole thing, just the edges as it is glued together, however you would never settle for that! I would do the same, it would drive me crazy knowing that the whole hamburger patty wasn't colored lol.

how is your polymer clay getting tough and hard before you bake it? is it because you use acrylic paint to dye it?

Crab Baby no.... polymer clay gets hard when you baked it. he/she used paint and shading to add special effects
p.s. that baking polymer clay doesn't make baked effects, just makes it *hard*

The Not Better Place I know that, I use polymer clay all the time, I was just wondering because I didn't know he baked each piece and then cut it. I just thought the acrylic paint he used to change the color of the clay for the buns and cheese and the lettuce was making the clay hard.

Crab Baby oh.... the acrylic paint or any coloring stuff doesn't make the clay hard. maybe he baked it a little bit, colored then baked again. i'm not a pro, but i guess you need to be careful.
