Watched my son surf Lovers Point in PG on 1/28, it’s a left and for goofy footers, ideal, I’ve never seen Lovers Point this big. I used to live on Rincon Point and had great surfing days there and this winter of 2024-2025 is epic.

Hi Lakey, in the clips you and Tom mention last year getting mullered as you didn’t have big enough boards. Was wondering if you could possibly do a video on this. Board size verses wave size? As a beginner/ intermediate I’ve been desperately trying to move down board size. 8’ foamie, 7’4, minimal, 6’10 mid length. Now on 6’ groveller style. It seems as beginners we desperately are trying to go down in size, but good guys are going up in size. Why do you want to get a bigger board for bigger waves? Thanks for videos, Kev

I remember when the surfing contest thing first started and people said I should enter one. The whole concept of making surfing into a contest was repugnant to me kind of like cursing God in a church would be to a religious person. In the end though to each his own. Southern California coastline. Up in northern California, we get huge surf all winter. While you had 8 ft waves, we had 20 to 30 ft waves. You should clarify that in Southern California, this is rare because you guys are always surfing tiny waves. Big swell in Northern California in the winter.....every winter! That said, the last month has been historic. We've had 10 to 20+ ft waves for a month straight! Look at Surfline for Humboldt County.
Where's your footage? I've never heard anyone claim they're heading to Humboldt to surf cuz it's gonna be firing so I don't know but Rincon is world class... Pu in sai tubos mai 🤙
