Depends on how much vandalism you get on a machine. Somebody was sticking toothpicks and pennies for weeks on end in one of my machines at walmart. It doesn't give you free stuff, but it does make me clear the jam on filll it or make a service call if it's beyond my capabilities.

I have a cousin who owns 19 different candy machines, 6 vending machines, 2 canned drinks (one coke and one Pepsi), 1 bottled drinks (some form of exotic sodas). He services them all himself and pays a tiny “rental fee” for the location and power for the ones that use electricity. He does this as his side hustle and makes about 21k a year in profits after gas and time and restocking fees. Not bad for about 5 hours of work a week.

Not really. Children usually aren’t using them alone and parents with kids who have allergies teach their kids to ask first, be responsible and aware etc. It used to work well back in the day where the responsibility was on the consumer and kids knew what they could and could not have. It’s a vending machine, not an elementary school lunch program

@@lisad4013 It’s not too much to ask though to know what you’re buying? Regardless of the “most of the time”’s it’s pretty bold of you to assume there’s not a single unsupervised child with a bit of pocket change who decides to spend it on a piece of candy, not knowing what it is for certain. Could even assume it’s something else. It’s not about what is or isn’t likely, it’s about preventing the worst case scenario; because no child’s life is less important than the two seconds it takes to write a “contains peanuts” label. Even if you want to blame stupid parenting for it instead, whatever.

@@Luigiismyboo unless they don’t know about the allergy they should know. Especially if it’s a life or death situation. A kid that small won’t be able to read. A parent who lets their child go alone to get snacks knowing of the allergy is a little strange and their responsibility. On top of that, families with kids that small with the known allergy also usually have an epi-pen with them everywhere. In elementary schools, they have one strapped to them in a fanny pack all day.

Factor in how much you pay the store for renting that space somr may be free but other will charge a small fee, plus your gas money and time involved servicing it that isn't much left after all that. I can see this as a good teaching tool for a teenager or child that wants to learn business but the amount of these you would have to have to make any decent amount of money would be a lot. EDIT now that I have seen more of your videos and seeing how you guys know what you're doing I can see this for myself as a side business, maybe not full time for me but I can see 20 to 30 of these being a decent monthly profit from basically a completely automated stream of income, and you earned my subscription

The ones 30 rubles ($0,52) and higher are usually little toys such as rubbery figures, the ones lower than that are usually candy such as jellybeans, and good god they're good. These can also be met at supermarkets and malls. There are also machines where you can buy toys from 50 rubles ($0,86) to 350 rubles ($6,05) from atleast from what i've seen. @@quikplayThank you for getting back to me! To be specific I counted 18 and 19 per vend and 6 peanut m&ms when I did a few test vends. I think the peanut m&ms are good but the skittles may need to be adjusted. How do those numbers sound? Once again thank you for replying. 🙏

I found that about 14 skittles is about half an ounce but to really be certain it is around half an ounce a food scale is your best bet for all candy.@@aloknight3656

Sure but the only costs presented in this video were supply costs. How about time, fuel, incidentals, etc.

Not even worth "profitable" is a over statement you make prob 60$ if they all sell out witch mean you make like 2$ a day not worth the time and effort at all

I think candy tastes better coming from a vending machine. Idk why. I'm an adult now so I can just buy a big tub of candy and eat it but it's not as satisfying.

The end of the week none where left.
It was $0.25 each turn and sometimes you would get two
