I love the Hager pumpkins and the Christmas plush. I have one of the parachute material witches, I remember there was a Russell Stover box of candy held by the gold elastic cord. They also used to attach Halloween themed Peanuts characters to boxes of candy, they were about the size of the old 1980's Smurfs, same rubbery plastic material and they'd have plush snoopy too. My boys are older but remember setting those out when we decorated.(they are stored with all of our Simpsons Treehouse of Horror figures). We used to have a Russell Stover store near by. Closed long time ago. Fun haul!🎃
don't fall back into that "idk the prices" mentality you had just started getting out of!! the more you get the better bundle deal, and if they price it too high who cares just put it back lol
I have a santa just like the one you found at 18:54. Ours had a Coca-Cola or Pepsi emblem on his belt buckle, which I removed when I was a kid. We've had this thing for 60 years.
Your digging really paid off at this sale! You found some fantastic vintage Christmas and Halloween items. I would have grabbed everything that you did so I can't even pick out a favorite, although the Harold Gale Santa is in extremely good condition so that may be my favorite. Thanks for sharing this fun sale!
I saw there were a bunch of VHS tapes of stuff that was probably recorded off of TV. There is a collectors market for people that look through those old VHS tapes to see if there’s any lost media on them if you can find a VHS that has some thing that’s been lost, over the years that people been looking for it can go for pretty good money.
what a great haul loved the santa doll & the reindeer plush .when you were digging and i seen the bronners box i squealed that is about 40 min from my house i have been there too many times too count christmas heaven so cool to see it made it across the counrty
The ghost might be holding the chicken as a nod to a folk lore that all ghosts had to return to the grave by the time a rooster crows. Signaling the end of Halloween / Dia De Los Muertos and lowering of the veil between realms. Or it was for whimsy and didn’t have any significance other than being funny.
