Why is it that everytime that good quality music is done it flops? Cher put her heart out in this, it's incredibly good, I'm sad I Want You Back got more recognition than this 😭
It's because "hits" like Want U Back are scientifically proven to be more popular because they repeat the same lyrics over and over again. Which people like more so therefore they top the charts, and a song like Siren usually won't top the chart.
Because they "engineer" songs that are popular to get stuck in your head. They're produced that way, so when a song like this comes out - they don't have as much publicity and are spread by word of mouth from fans more than anything else.

For those of you who need some clarification on the story:
In this video she is talking about being in a relationship with a criminal, and how they always have to be on the look out for the police. It's also showing how an innocent child is growing up in this environment. Cher burns the evidence so that he won't go to jail, and be able to come back to Cher and his child to live together happily. They're always on the run, and she can't take it anymore.
