Is almost equivalent to entire population of Bangladesh so do you think that everyone can afford airplane?? I think you should compare the cost of the cost of sleeper class or general class with the cost of economy class of plane for the same distance... You'll get your answer..

I did from Delhi to mumbai via Rajdhani in 1 st class with family and it’s for sure much better then plane, if you are not in rush.

I travelled in Mumbai Rajdhani , Bangalore Rajdhani. The best Rajdhani I travelled is Trivandrum Rajdhani. It's nearly a 55 hours journey. The best part of this train is when it passes through the beautiful mountains and valleys of Konkan railway region and the beautiful landscapes of Kerala. That was the first time I visited Kerala. Once in a lifetime experience. The food was awesome This year I am going to travel in monsoon.

In 2019 November I went by Rajdhani Express from New Delhi to Mumbai in First Class trust me it's much better than Aircraft Journey it's like a 5 Star room where everyone is relaxing and enjoying their journey I went Mumbai to wish my idol and The one and only SRK to wish him Happy birthday on 2nd November trust me all worth Journey plus Shahrukh Khan Gesture is Incredible love to revisit but due to COVID family don't allowed me so hopefully this Year in November I will definitely revisit Mumbai again

For Moazzam bhai's clarification, this was a short journey by Indian standards. The guy started from Gaya which is in Bihar and got down at Kolkata which is in West Bengal. Bihar and West Bengal are adjacent states. The train runs from Delhi to Sealdah and vice versa and the total journey duration from start to finish would be closer to 1.5 days.
