I really want to make this but i dont have the metal hole things or the tools for them, any suggestions?
You can just make holes, without adding the metal thing 😊 but make sure to double the fabric both sides.

I’m former Navy and the only one that sees in the family (had to fix our cloths aboard ship back then). My wife has lost a lot of weight and I thought about making her a corset top out of some of her old big jeans until I saw your belt and thought not only was it perfect but she could wear it to church too lol. Santa brought me a new Brothers sewing machine for Christmas and I think I just found my first project. My question is do you have any measurement suggestions for the belt? Or just like a few inches less than her waist?
Any other measurements I’m probably not thinking of would be great too I’d you don’t mind. I’m usually hemming, fixing or slightly altering kids and grand kids clothes or repairing mine. Thank you in advance. Oh this Texan tips his hat to ya, the belt looks great!
Yes...a few inches/cm less than her waist measurement ( around 10 cm less ).
