- On March 19, 2022, the Whispers received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joseph R. Biden for Community Service and Honorary Doctorate Degrees at the Canney Hotel in Las Vegas. The awards were presented by Dr. Kenneth Curry, Certifying Agent. the Degree was conferred to the Whispers by the Christian Bible Institute and Seminary of Houston Texas, President Dr. Tony V. Lewis.

Growing up my mom had your albums playing in rotation ! Your songs became part of my fondest childhood memories and my sweet lullabies to fall asleep. Thank you so much for all your contributions to the music industry and may you all continue to be blessed LEGENDS! You are all phenomenal!!!❤❤❤❤❤

Most and well deserving. The Whispers and their musicians musical talents have helped us as a nation to get through some tuff times. And 3 of my kids were conceived with the Whispers in the background. Nicholas Caldwell "Nick at Night"

These Guys are so deserving of this award. 58 years of wonderful music. Great songs with so much meaning and Love ❤ The other award shows never gave them their due. I've seen them this year 2022 at the kings theatre they were phenomenal. The have been and will always be my Favorite group. Thanks President Biden for honoring them.I hold them high as well.
