Iai slash counter works the same way of Iai spirit slash counter in terms of timing and getting superarmor. So it's perfectly OK to use it when you can
@@Evrimomonotho, Iai Slash has only 5 counter frames compared to ISS having 12 frames, which is really tight as you have to be well sync to time it perfectly.

Its not a mod, it's how to fight was designed. The fatalis nova can't one-shot you if you are almost at full HP and you are wielding a weapon that is for close combat, not range combat.
