So tempted by Rosy Mauve. Grateful to see what it looks like on actual lips. I took a CL survey on feedback for new products and seems like a version of the plumper w spf is in the works🤞

Is the gloss the only part of the plumping routine? in their ads, they show other products. It has confused me a bit. There is a scrub and an ointment/cream that they cover with plastic etc. I'm unclear as to whether these are products I should get as well or if they are just techniques used that the city gloss is replacing. Worst on you is Tokyo Kiss. Best is a toss up. The rest are pretty stunning but best payoff appears to be Crimson and Rosy Mauve. My fave colour is Sundiego. But the Nude York is nice too. Lol. Thanks for the swatches.
I tried this gloss on your recommendation and my daughter and I are IMMEDIATELY OBSESSED!!! I got sun diego, nude York, and 2 clear. I'm not sure how much they're actually plumping my lips but I do not care because I love the moisture this seals into my lips. It is thick and a bit tacky but I LOVE THAT. I wore the clear to bed the first night and there was like this magical moisture seal still on my lips. All the way until morning. My 16 year old daughter did the same and woke up like "mom this gloss is magic!" Indeed. Thanks so much for telling us about it!!! I also love that the fragrance is mild, and dissipates quickly, and that it doesn't feel like it's causing unhealthy inflammation.
That's so awesome. Thank you for sharing this. Lol it's magic! I have to agree. Put a little of the clear on the outside of your lip border and that's how I really see the plumping. Or take a before & after photo. That's when I notice it the most. Its just a slight plumping, but if you have a few lip wrinkles then you will see it. But the hydration and intense moisture is the best for sure. When they have another huge sale, try Los Angelips and Tinsel Town. I bet you will love those shades too. They are sheer but super pretty. 💜

I think the first time I saw your recommendation for this product, it was on buy one get one free promo, so I ordered to give it a try. Now I always try to order when it is but one get one free. I've told several friends about it and they love it as well. I always ordered clear at the beginning, but have ordered Los Angelips and Tinsel Town. Love Tinsel Town, Los Angelips was a little too gold for my cool tones. But I just used it as I was putting on my makeup. Love the Rosy Mauve, I may have to try that one. Is the Crimson slightly more orangey? I also think lip products can change color on everyone depending on skin tone and just how it reacts with your skin chemistry. Thanks for sharing. Crimson is more of a brownish mauve. It's pretty but I don't like it on my skin tone by itself unless I mix it with Tinsel Town over top. but it's gorgeous on others who like that nude brownish mauve shade. Hope that helps. 💜

Maybe Google and see if someone with smaller lips shared their results. Mine are thankfully still fairly full but a little crooked on 1 side so I like to add a little extra gloss above my upper lip to help kinda hide that. I see many reviews all over the internet. But then I also see people with lip fillers reviewing the product too so that seems kinda weird LOL but looks like there are all shapes and sizes of lips out there doing reviews. Maybe some other reviews online will be helpful. 💜 The company does have a really good return policy too if you buy it and decide you don't like it. Hope that helps 🤗
