Coming towards the end of the first CCNA Fundamentals section. Need to go over IPv6! Keep studying, plenty more videos on the way. All the best (Ps, another CCENT carry over)

Wow! Thanks for simplifying that in a way I could feel pretty comfortable with it! Great job! I will continue to watch the rest of you videos.

Pls how many bytes are in ipv6 and how many bits are in each bytes of ipv6 because considering the ipv6 address sample 2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334, there are only 8 sets of hexadecimal separated by colons, should I just assumed that 1 byte(1 Octet) in ipv6 is 16 bits considering we have only 8 segments and total of 128 bits. I understand there are 4 bytes in ipv4 and each byte in ipv4 contain 8 bits total 32 bits in ipv4. Pls I want to understand the relationship between bytes and bits in ipv6. OR rather should I just assumed that 1 byte in ipv4 is 8 bits and 1 byte in ipv6 is 16 bits considering we have only 8 segments total 128 bits.

Take all the IPv4 addresses from Russia and Belarus. Problem solved.
