i love this song. it doesnt have a bunch of metaphors nobody understands, this is from the heart and just straight to the point, thats why i love this song and relate so hard to it!
This reminds me back when things were really tough, and my depression was worsening. I missed school to avoid people, but I hated being home because of the abuse, so I isolated myself. I bit my tongue, I wanted to find where I belonged... 6 years later, and I haven't found where that is, and it's still so bad... I've had enough..

Hey man if you get the chance to read this I know the pain you must feel inside. I’ve been alone my whole life. I looked into religion, spiritual teachings, law of attraction, meditation... non of that stuff can bring you real peace. It can give you what your soul needs. Tbf its not a direction that wasnt unexpected... one of their biggest influences has been brand new... and ya can hear a lot of thag influence in this song. This sound is more closer to their first split ep and moving home ep.

cazza710 sometimes bands or members of bands are. Just listen to the FOB album Folie á Duex and realise how much it’s linked with Pete Wentz and his struggles with drugs.
This Is also quite a good direction for indie band to adopt because people seem to be able to relate better to crap situations than hyper realistic songs with videos full of candy like any Katy Perry video ever. :)

all because it's only in November (around the second week of november) i've heard someone important to me have passed away 8 days before halloween
this song helps me in a way to calm me down (and sometimes let the tears down) but i still have a difficult time with the loss😢😢💔

Adore really most of Moose Blood’s songs honestly, this is now my favourite though, love the new direction this is taking them. Feel like Talk in Your Sleep was just the more mainstream single to draw new people into the genre and in to the band. whilst they accommodate for their fans that have been around longer by slightly going into sounding like their older stuff but more defined. I like it. I like t a lot.

Do you guys ever want this band to reach the next level of success? Well, this is the only way this is going to happen. Yes, this is a little more watered down for a Moose Blood song. It's still great! Bands evolve. At least they're not pulling a Fall Out Boy and playing pop music. Still, a very moody, deep song and that's all I ask from Moose Blood. Hyped for this new album!
TheSkullKid they reached great success without sounding like this tho... they went from playing a 350 cap room (subterranean) to playing House of Blues in Chicago

Its new but similar enough to appeal to the original fans. Personally, i love their new sound as much as their old sound. Im so glad they didn't pull a fall out boy, paramore or the neighbourhood because they've become mainstream

Class tune, only thing i think is missing is for it to get a bit more aggressive towards the end with eddie shouting and the instruments getting heavier, but class tune nonetheless!
Evan Phillips I think that would ruin it, the slow and mellow feel of the song very much reflects the theme. If it got heavier and more energetic it wouldn't feel so much like Eddie is tired and worn down.
