He's at Lennon status cause he's a good writer & singer, but his voice sounds nothing like Lennon's voice. Listen to Alex Turner, he's songs are great & he sounds a lot like John Lennon. Alex Turner is the guitarist
& lead singer for the band Arctic Monkeys, but he does have solo music in which his voice & songs sound so much like Lennon's voice & solo work songs.
then you've apparently never listened to John Lennon's music from the 70s... because Tweedy's delicate timber FIRST reminded me of Lennon's pre "lost weekend" period.
