  • CAMERA / WHERE WE STAYED / WHAT TO EAT / OTHER ADVICE BELOW TO HOPEFULLY HELP OTHERS OUT:
Any questions, shout me on instagram @Eldoofs
Hostel / Guesthouse - Both organised taxis (28euro each way from the airport), trips, food (if you want) etc where and when required which was incredibly helpful.
Taghazout - Chiwash Place (Hostel, in a great location, and good for mixing with others). Great place, can be noisy because it's next to the mosque and main town but it's fine. We had a private room with a private bathroom and the people who worked there we're super nice.
Tamraght - Panarama Guest House which was more of the hotel experience which was well needed, great pool, the rooms and hotel is absolutely incredible (google it!), host was an absolute legend as well and less surf focussed.
CAMERA: Trying out the new (to us at least) camera the Fujifilm XT30 (mk1). The camera had the standard XF 18-55mm kit lens on it, and was super easy to use. It's my first Fuji and first camera like this for about 13 years so a few mistakes but the full auto setting is a life saver when you're walking around and just need to grab a quick shot out your bag.
We struggled to see too much footage of the basic set up when looking online before buying without a different lens or a mixture of cameras used so hopefully this also helps somebody looking for one.
    RANDOM TIPS:
Bring a few quid for the animals because they are legends and need to be looked after.
All the usual advice re: tap water, ice cubes, salad etc.
HOWEVER - many cafes/restaurants around both locations offer filtered water and good food
Renting surf kit is all much of a muchness for begineers, just get it closer to the beach you want to go to, cost us about £14 pp for 2 days.
Paradise Valley is cool, worth it if you fancy a break from the town but go early as it gets very, very busy,
a few places to eat come to mind that we did go back to or defo would ...:
TAGHAZOUT - Redclay (vegan/looks after the local dogs), Teapot, Windy Bay
TAMRAGHT - Manouche (brilliant food, slightly more than the average in cost), Le Petit Kawa (cheaper but local good food).
