Extremely beautiful video with awe inspring drone work along with a superlative narration. I learned so much and saw beautiful places I have never seen before. This took a lot of work to do especially with the very heavy traffic on Lido Key. Hot vs cold, poor versus rich, scenic vs ugly there is no limit on what you can make presentable and interesting.
And I am a native of Longboat Key as my grandfather was the first Realtor/Broker in LBK history. And my name is the last one on the Pioneer Family Registry, pre 1955.
Architecturally speaking, you can tell what decade these homes were built in by appearances and size. Pretty cool stories of the history. Wouldn't want to live there but it may be a decent place to visit at least once in a lifetime.
Chris, Longboat does a swinging and classy downtown, it's the "Longboat Ace Hardware" on Gulf of Mexico DR., it's the meet and greet center of the key. The Ace is right next to "Fat Cat Carpet Cleaning," anybody that's anybody can be seen there every Friday and Saturday night. To be honest, it does look like a nice place to live --- must have a pool.
Chris, I was reminded of the Chevy Chase European Vacation movie in London, with all of your trips around St Armands Circle since you were there in March which is prime tourist season. 😃

What's wrong with Florida? My only dislikes of Florida is hurricanes and no ski resort within driving distance for day trips.
Nice place, but i just cant get into the gulf coast. I know it's nicer, but i prefer the Atlantic side.
