I’m a fan of your work, so to me it doesn’t matter this one vid is a miss. The song choice is interesting and fits the storyline kinda; but the scene selection doesn’t hang together for me. It’s a difficult film, imo, and the ending is ambiguous. I think the guys came out of it as fragile co-dependant men in need of of constant propping-up support.
I have no control over the actual film and its creation. Please take that up with the writers and the director. My videos are generally not a representation of the film. It is best to come into my video with a blank mind. I often actually change the outcome and the story-line with my videos due to the song constraints I have to work with. Please bear in mind that I often have a very limited number of scenes where there are not other actors (in this case it was children) in the scenes or the actors are not doing drugs, smoking, fighting/arguing, in an all out sex scene or there are not captions obliterating the images. My ability is imperfect and baroque, I have to work with only what is available. In this case it was precious few scenes that were usable in his type of romance video. I went ahead with releasing it anyway because I personally do not think it is all that bad as is. Thanks for your comment. :)
