    Rip, thoroughly appreciated this podcast. In reference to Brian's #2 lesson - "Stay healthy in old age" - I have this quote on my desk: "If you do not make time for your wellness, you will be forced to make time for your illness." Jeanne Schumacher

    Doesn’t matter if the video gets disrupted- the message still comes through loud and clear. Praying that more will have ears to hear the truth about what’s happening with our planet. Thank you for not giving up and keeping this information out there. It’s changed my daughter, sons, mine and now my husbands lives.

    My way of staying fit into old age is - push ups! I'm 82, and, to keep myself on task, I've set myself a goal of doing one million push ups between the ages of 80 and 90. I try and do roughly 10,000 a month - and I'm almost up to 300,000, ATM. Been eating a WFPB diet for the last 15 years, and I've never felt so good. Love your dad, Rip, and all the plant-based doctors.

    Great discussion! I find it fascinating that this crisis is forcing us to spend time with our families, encouraging us to cook & eat at home (and more veggies, too, since shortages are affecting meat supplies), requiring us to walk more and rediscover the concept of margin. These are the very things intended by nature in the first place...

    That was a gem video. Anything about encouraging fresh fruits and vegetables. I’m on plant base diet for the last 6 years since 2015, but I am always finding something new on the subject. I’m so surprised that people can’t connect their physical difficulties with their diet. It is so unreal to me as if they are living in different plants. I appreciate this video and hardly can wait forward for the next one. Blessings. 💚

    Love every one of your episodes and this one was no different.....Thankyou! Wish I was home and watching Netflix but my husband and I take products into the grocery stores six days a week. As I got out of my car to go into a big chain store the thought ran through my head “I feel like I’m walking onto the battlefield “. The crowds of people over shopping and coughing and sneezing etc makes you feel uneasy. I’m grateful for a plant based lifestyle......somehow it seems to take the edge off the uneasiness! Peace, engine 2 and keep it plant strong baby!!! (Haha....I love it when you say that at the end)

    Some of us have to go out to work. If I don’t work, I have no money coming in. Don’t assume I’m being irresponsible because I have to go out for work. Not everyone can sit in the house and survive this.

      @Susie Lynn,
      Please know what true virus protection is. Unless there is a huge extermination of the human population there is no way that you can be part of society and avoid being exposed to any virus. The only true protection is to stop creating the culturing medium with in your body. Viruses do not make people unhealthy. Unhealthy people make a home for viruses.

    By Kitty O'Meara
    And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently.
    And the people healed. And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal.
    And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed.

    Our mass consumption also has an effect on the world. If we didn’t go out and buy $2 tee shirts from Walmart, those Chinese people would not have to look for cheap forms of protein. They deserve a living wage and it’s our fault because we drive the consumption/need. I am plant based but we also have had major, major problems with produce, remember salmonella and romaine?
