Man, I'd be upset too. That's one of the worst cases of "it's not that bad" I've ever seen. About to tackle a 2007 that doesn't live in the rust belt tomorrow, good to know I'll need my impact driver. Job well done!
Man I felt your rage and your video is very informative thanks for the help, I just bought a decently used one of a 06 model and it’s a manual transmission but since the Orginal owner neglected the car ALOT The E brake is completely gone and I’ve been putting it in gear to make sure it don’t roll down the hill also with wheel chucks , I’m about to tackle this exact job since the pads also need to be changed so hopefully it’s not too bad
Nice! Nice! Bucket! You should frame those parts in the auto repair Hall of Shame. You know what else is nice but not really, I just got a new brake hose delivered from Amazon and the banjo bolts copper washers weren't included! So it's pretty much useless until I get those. I saw a bunch of blogs on the internet about copper washers different sizes at Harbor Freight that people have been using for the cars and Brake hoses and what have you. So I'll be going there today. The auto parts stores don't sell those washers those washers by themselves two of them told me. So what the hell I'll get a 80-piece copper washer set all different sizes for $6.99!
@@RustBeltAuto I forgot to mention I was so ticked off at Amazon because they forgot those copper washers so they are sending me another hose with the washers! And they told me I can keep the hose as well that I just got from them!
If that lady brought that car to me and after she paid for everything. I guarantee that nails wouldn’t be the only thing I would be hammering that weekend.
They lied and knew how bad it was, but didn't give a shit. "They" probably did kill someone and couldn't stop to render help, so decided maybe we better get things fixed. Did they pay you for the parts and work, did you have them sign the title over before the work was started? I agree, did they have it towed to get it to you, I bet they used the emergency brake...if it worked.
Oh my God!! Some people... I hope you show them the reality. MOT should be called or police and revoke the drivers license. The owner is a hazard on the road
This comment is yet but another addition to the current narcissistic rollercoaster. Makes my heart skip a beat, then I remember the abuse from people who didn't like me, just from being me. Thanks.

I steer everything into a hill when things don't work right for me. S**t doesn't roll up hill.
Bro same my e breaks completely rusted out doesn’t even work. Whoever had the car before me didn’t do any maintenance on it
You really helped thanks a lot great video
😁
Good video, it was funny.
Nice!
Most ironic and pissed off mechanic!!! 😂😂😂
When I go to sleep, I have beautiful dreams. 😝
You don’t grease your slides and metal to metal contact?
Yes always
Unless you mean the abutment clips, no. Never.
Are the front and rear calipers the same fit. a lot of websites only list rear calipers for sale
Rear calipers are always smaller. The braking is 70f/30r.
Did you replace the rotor fasteners that broke?
I do not.
So you can put new rotors on the rear without the e break? I have a similar situation where my e break is all rusty and broken
People never use them.
We just put a new gas tank on mine. Pain in the ass
I’m 54 but when I was 18 my 1980 Toyota truck brakes were so bad at one time I had to use the emergency brake to slow down and stop.
Sounds dangerous.
Unbelievable!!!
What did I do this time? Excuse me for forgetting what I did yesterday.
What size is the lug nut socket?
Probably a 19 or 21mm

I think a hardware store may have them. You could try NAPA too, or reuse tho old ones, and just make sure they don't leak.

"Put some tires on it and let it buck!"
This is the worst Brake conditions I've ever seen
Break, brake, same thing with this car I guess.

Was there any blood on front of the car?

Could have upgraded to dot 4
Dot 3 and 4 are usually the same now, and are compatible. They were different a while back.
Its ur job .. u dont know the back story to this situation so maybe dont assume so much
Deductive reasoning.
Nah, he has it right. That's pure neglect right there.
What can you expect from a woman driving
Not all woman are like that!! That's a sexist af statement!! Some men can be just as careless and neglectful!!!
@@jeanniemarie7892 true good point
Haha ya I kinda said something similar when my baby’s dad blew the pistons on the Honda and just kept on driving like it’s was normal…
I don't like this guy. I'll move on to another video.
