I lost my mother almost 6 wks back. She passed away on a Friday morning, she was suffering from the dreaded Cancer pancreas we struggled for 11 months but dint succeed we lost we as in me and my sister, we lost Abbu almost 8 yrs back. Its tough to accept ourselves as orphans. My tears never stop we wish Allah gives us a little more Sabr

I never left my mum, even after marriage i live 15mins away by car, i call her everyday and visit once a week. If she needs anything and tells me on the day, InshAllah i bring it the same day Alhamdurillah. My father passed 16yrs ago. Lifes too short and i for 1, dont follow others, i do my deeds and all to enter paradise InshAllah, i look after my 4yo old son, and my 3 brothers who never got married coz of the headache they care for my mother and live with her. I speak to them everyday also, we are a close family. Unfortunately 1 brother moved away 2hrs journey and the other sister outside london, they dont care about family. Theres always the good, bad in every family.

disagree, especially if your mother is an abuser, and you come from childhood abuse you, to spend time with your mother is actually hell , there is a saying in Islam, that heaven is at the feet of your mother, which I disagree with, personally for me the opposite is true, it is hell that is at the feet of my mother, because not all mothers are created equal, that is a fact to believe that it’s a lot to do with the fact that there is a majority of Muslims that are quite ignorant and rude. They just believe anything that they are told instead of doing the own research or understanding from their own situation, certain things and, especially when you understand, feminine archetypes, and there is something called the terrible mother and it is also an archetype, not all mothers or not. You misunderstood the meaning of the paradise under a mother's feet. There are islamic guidelines for being good to your parents, these protect you from the wicked while still keeping you able to satisfy Allah's demands in pleasing your mom.

May Allah guide you. As the Quran says one shall not find happiness except in the remembrance of God. When gods not in your life, life become empty, worthless and pointless. Having no purpose or having mundane purposes on earth is very depressing and this is what leads to most men ending themselves. Even if you was an atheist and god did not even exist, you have to be rational and realise that the peak human experience to live the happiest and best life on earth is believing in god and believing god is proud of you and heaven awaits you. So even if god doesn’t exist, you are literally better off believing on God anyway which then would make you ponder why we have such a deep psychological and spiritual need for a higher power to exist…maybe it just happened by chance. You can’t even pull the corruption card since even the people in charge either believe in god or at least believe the devil is real and they’re working for him. Owl gods, cow gods, satanism…who knows am I right…
