I head out with my good friend Collin Schlicht to get onto some Lake Michigan trout by putting out a trolling spread of crankbaits and spoons and using dipsey divers and planer boards to get all of our lines out! The first giant brown that we catch completely destroys our favorite crankbait!!

I'm in northern Illinois and fish Racine from shore during the fall. I now have a new boat that can handle Lake Michigan but I have no idea where to start.
@CatfishandCrappie I'd start with a few Dipsey Diver setups and maybe some lead core lines off of boards. I have a previous video about setting up a small craft for Lake Michigan that ypu may find helpful ☺️

I like almost all kinds of fishing, but trolling, especially with 6 rods out is, by far, my least favorite way to fish. But hey, to each his own.

@@AnglingAnarchy If you enjoy it, then absolutely! I'll troll, but where I fish it's rowing only, so I pull two leadcore rods, and even then I get tangled because I turn too sharp!
