The thing is, Raiden isn’t really a proper DPS. She’s a DPS, on-fielder driver, off-field support, hyperbloom trigger, etc. Clorinde doing more damage than Raiden should be a given as she offers none of the same utility or versatility. Raiden’s power budget is distributed across her personal damage, her team wide battery capabilities, her burst buff and her interruption resistance. And even then, even at C0, her DPS teams will still clear all the content in the game… and she’s so easy to play too and offers loads of team wide value. Saying Clorinde’s the best electro DPS isn’t saying much when her competition is Cyno and Keqing.
The biggest challenge we got in the game so far was an open world blob that takes a minute to kill… I honestly dont know if people that argue which unit is more powerful are mentally handicaped or what, are we even playing the same game? cyno is super wack to play, his burst is too long for the teams he wants to play in and he only outperforms clorinde in aggravate/hyperbloom teams due to em scaling, also he has no sustain compared to clorinde

(for me) you don't need to use his ultimate for the entire duration just until your off field supports skills end and then you begin the rotation again

I'm still hoping they continue the strong Fontaine 5*s trend. Clorinde is a beast in lore (for a mortal) and we have yet to get a cracked C0 electro dps. Raiden is mid, Keqing is weaker than most 5* dps even with dendro, and Cyno is frustratingly restrictive and expensive to be made competitive

I think u can't make an electro char much stronger who atks so frequently. Unlike pyro nd hydro whose dmg mostly depends on multiplayers electro char get a significant boost on dmg with frequent hits. On top of that I think supports do more dmg in aggravate/spread teams. So may be if they make her as strong as lets say Arlechino may be she will break the game in a aggravate focused team where other sub dpses also do a good amount of dmg.

She is still bad. kequin and c0 raiden are pretty low standards for current meta. Raiden is not even dps before her c2. I dont get how they can make characters like furina or neuvilete and then make chiori, sigiwene or clorinde. She might still get buffs but right now she doesnt look promising.

As someone who owns Navia, C6 Furina, and Chiori, Chiori is actually strong AF and everyone is trippin in regards to her strength
