I love the stories and the way he tells them. I can listen during the day and have no problem staying awake. But when I'm trying to sleep, his voice is so soothing and mesmerizing. Ive had a spinal headache, and I would rather experience natural child birth. I actually threw up and had seizues, the spinal headache was so bad! It was sheer hell!
In the story about the 27-year-old woman who went to the hospital with a presumed panic attack, she stated that she was in a state of dystonia. I believe she meant, “dysphoria,” defined as, “a state of unease, anxiety, and misery.” I suffer from dystonia, which is a state of extreme muscle spasticity resulting in involuntary movement similar to Cerebral Palsy. It also causes severe pain (someone I knew with Cerebral Palsy told me it did not cause her pain, but I’m not sure if that’s the case with everybody). Anyway, the author wasn’t describing anything like a muscular disorder but more of a state of extreme anxiety so I believe she meant dysphoria.

The story with the sky getting bright too early in the morning reminds me of something. I'm from Arkansas but I lived in Sammamish, Washington for a few months a while back. I would take my dogs out for the last time usually between 2-4 am. Very regularly I would see something similar to what they're talking about. It would be like 3:30 am and it would look like the sun was coming up when most of the time it wouldn't be that bright until 5:30ish and it only looked like this once in a while. I remember thinking it was strange but not really creepy.
The story at around 40 minutes happened to me too. That shit is weird. For a straight week I had dreams about being in a car accident with different people in my family, but never my dad. That Friday me and my dad were t-boned. It wasn't bad and we weren't injured but our van's left tire was screwed up. I still dont know what to think. He remembers me complaining about the dreams too before the accident.

I think its amusing how we as human beings are innocent in our own way as a child. When you really think about it, thats one thing we all had in common, And because of that it almost makes me feel like i am a part of something bigger than ourselfs. "Humanity".
I like in Roseburg Oregon and I was born in Portland Oregon and my birthday is January 13th 2001 and I am 22 years old and I have special needs and do you want to be friends
The pregnant lady story infuriates me as much as antivax people. "I want to be home and see my baby despite having a bad infection and clot that almost killed me." She would've been better much faster if she just stayed in the first place. Makes me respect this other lady I met who stayed in the hospital for a week despite having a baby two weeks before. The person in the story though... Its like her body was struggling with her mind to knock some sense into it. Sorry... I know what I said was rough, but its the truth. If she said "I know my body" in the story I think I'd be even more mad about it because its said so often. She risked her baby not growing up with a mother because she thought she knew better. I've seen this before despite it being different circumstances. That's probably why I got so angry about it. Again, sorry if I offended someone, I'm just very passionate about this particular subject. I'm just glad she got the chance to learn something about it because some people don't.

This case didn't exactly make me think post partum depression, but it is something to think about. I'll think on what you said a bit because, yea, that is something that can happen and perhaps if I ever see this in person (dear God I hope not) I could help someone out with it better. Wow... this story sounded a lot like what my son and I went through. I signed myself out the day after the emergency c- section (he was flown via life flight the night before as he aspirated on meconium). He was in the nicu for a month and we were able to stay at their guest house (like St Vincent's own Ronald McDonald house) for that month for free. This is going on 11 years ago and he's a monster lol!
My mum has one of these gut feelings and bc she did not leave it saved my new born life and I’ve had a gut feeling that someone was not who she seems to be and I was right .TRUST UR INSTINCTS IF YOU CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT !!!!!! They may save someone’s or ur life , if my mums instinct didn’t make her do what she did I would of suffocated bc my lungs had not developed strong enough causing me to randomly stop breathing .
NICU. Newborn intensive care unit. Pronounced Nic u . .. spelling it made me giggle a bit .. adore your content! Listen to you almost every night. And your one of the only voices I can tolerate when I have a migraine (I get sensitivity to light and sounds and light or sharp or loud noises make me physically nauseous or make me sick to my tummy) I find it relaxing and listening to you before bed I find I get bit more sleep then normally. Which is huge ...pain keeps me flip flopping all night.
I mean, I still love his content and the way he narrates. I just make sure to only listen to the ones that don't have as many ads and if I do, it's not when I'm about to sleep and I can skip them. Check out Lets Read! though :) pretty good content to fall asleep to and it's quite similar to Mortis, just an American guy.
I love you and your vids MM, but I however do not like being jerked awake by blaring klaxons in a gaming commercial at 1:30am. I don't have a problem with commercials as a rule, except that one. 😥

I had to stop listening to that story because it's setting off my anxiety and hypochondria at work

I think its amusing how we as human beings are innocent in our own way as a child. When you really think about it, thats one thing we all had in common, And because of that it almost makes me feel like i am a part of something bigger than ourselfs. "Humanity".

The pregnant lady story infuriates me as much as antivax people. "I want to be home and see my baby despite having a bad infection and clot that almost killed me." She would've been better much faster if she just stayed in the first place. Makes me respect this other lady I met who stayed in the hospital for a week despite having a baby two weeks before. The person in the story though... Its like her body was struggling with her mind to knock some sense into it. Sorry... I know what I said was rough, but its the truth. If she said "I know my body" in the story I think I'd be even more mad about it because its said so often. She risked her baby not growing up with a mother because she thought she knew better. I've seen this before despite it being different circumstances. That's probably why I got so angry about it. Again, sorry if I offended someone, I'm just very passionate about this particular subject. I'm just glad she got the chance to learn something about it because some people don't.
JaniceGhostHunter13 it’s called post partum depression and it happens to a lot of first time moms especially ones who struggle with anxiety and health problems for the baby after birth
@@liyataylor7389 Well, that may be true, but despite anxiety and depression you ultimately still hold a responsibility to the child. This case didn't exactly make me think post partum depression, but it is something to think about. I'll think on what you said a bit because, yea, that is something that can happen and perhaps if I ever see this in person (dear God I hope not) I could help someone out with it better. Wow... this story sounded a lot like what my son and I went through. I signed myself out the day after the emergency c- section (he was flown via life flight the night before as he aspirated on meconium). He was in the nicu for a month and we were able to stay at their guest house (like St Vincent's own Ronald McDonald house) for that month for free. This is going on 11 years ago and he's a monster lol!

My mum has one of these gut feelings and bc she did not leave it saved my new born life and I’ve had a gut feeling that someone was not who she seems to be and I was right .TRUST UR INSTINCTS IF YOU CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT !!!!!! They may save someone’s or ur life , if my mums instinct didn’t make her do what she did I would of suffocated bc my lungs had not developed strong enough causing me to randomly stop breathing .

And your one of the only voices I can tolerate when I have a migraine (I get sensitivity to light and sounds and light or sharp or loud noises make me physically nauseous or make me sick to my tummy) I find it relaxing and listening to you before bed I find I get bit more sleep then normally. Which is huge ...pain keeps me flip flopping all night.

I mean, I still love his content and the way he narrates. I just make sure to only listen to the ones that don't have as many ads and if I do, it's not when I'm about to sleep and I can skip them. Check out Lets Read! though :) pretty good content to fall asleep to and it's quite similar to Mortis, just an American guy.
